Here's a minor bug (that appears to be inconsequential) in Solberg's lands, during the "Endurance Test" in the SE quadrant (minor spoiler): You can simply pass this test by running away into Solberg's Tower. (Three of my four party members died in the process; one made it to the Tower alive). After a few turns, potentially when the test is over, a dialogue starts. I'm guessing it should be the servant telling you that the test is over. However, since I had moved to another area (the tower), I got into a dialogue with what seemed like Solberg. Very confusing. The quest still registered as completet, and I got my reward, so no big deal.

Hi, there are some monsters that attack with poison or acid (which is easily cured by my priest). Others shoot lightning fields which do a lot of damage over time -- is there a way to cure lightning? Or, if not, what's the best way to protect myself against its effects? Hardiness? Luck? Endurance? Items (which ones) ? Thanks for your comments

Hi, does anyone know if the following will work? I have a Mac available now, but won't next year. If I start playing Avernum 5 now (and buy the registration code), can I transfer the registration and the saved games to the windows version (when it comes out)? Has anyone transferred savegames successfully for previous Avernums? Thanks
