I understand my package was confiscated and now, I cannot complete the quest for Chrysander. Any way I can get back the package??? If so, can I go through the gate with it?

I understand I shall start with the North station. I am supposed to bring a pudgy goblin to the ogre statue. I just can't find my way south in this area even if I press all hidden switches. Help anyone. Thanks
