I hate that Averum 4 & 5 has same character models as Geneforge.

Correct, Neb believes it was in geneforge 2 that showed that unless creations were willing, the shaper had difficulty absorbing creations.

 

It also makes sence the shaper would be able to kill Lifecrafters. The shaper absorbes the essence enfused in the Lifecrafter's DNA, causeing it to break down in massive amounts, mostly in the brain. The entire being doesn't vanish, it just dies from loss of too much essential DNA components, braindeath.

And yet they are still character types, and this could really happen. It makes sence, the skills you pick up from dodging absorbtion would be realistic.

The game would suck alittle more.

If you look at what screenshots are up for geneforge games already released, this is about right. More comming out is doubtfull.

Nebulan will say again Barzhal, while ever so slightly insane, was very organised. Perhaps he would be more like Monarch if he ran out of canisters, but that would not make much sence given the rebels views on them.
