My lifecrafter had 27 int at endgame and i needed every bit of it. of course that was with items.

I know this is not exactly answering the question, but I never liked the fact that the whole town goes red when you attack someone or when one person sees you steal. If no one sees me attack the person or if i silence the person that witnessed my crime before they can report me, the whole town should not hate me. Also I would like it better if my reputation was more localized. For example, if i kill rogues in an area then my reputation in that town and surrounding towns should improve. If I then did something dirty in a town where i had a very good reputation they should be more tolerant. Even if they go red because I kill someone they should not stay red forever. If I have a very good rep but kill someone inconsequential, my rep should go from very good to good or neutral. When I leave the town and come back in they should not be in kill mode. That would make the game a lot more enjoyable to me. And yes, I did feel a little herded.

Are you good at melee and magic and low on essence? If you are, a cheap build can work (although your particular cheap build looks a little melee heavy and I have found alphas to be quite lame. glaaks and alphas cost the same as drayks, i'd say drop 1 glaahk and one alpha or both alphas and make 2 more drayks. What might be even better is to go all drayk). If you are a lifecrafter though, nothing beats a strong team. You have all that essence to make big mean monsters, so make them. Everyone always talks about how magic is the most powerful path, but I feel it's shaping. My lifecrafter and shocktrooper trampled over enemies quicker and with much greater ease than my servile and infiltrator. In so many encounters my team never takes any damage, not because i stun, daze, slow, or terrorize, but because I go first and there are no more enemies for a second round. Yes the PC will be weaker, but that's what essence armor, steel skin, and augmentation are for. Besides, it doesnt matter how strong you are if your enemy is a pool of blood.

One should not confuse lack of communicative skills or desire to serve with lack of intelligence or inferiority. Besides, both of those terms are relative. If you speak well and I keep and organize records well then you're more intelligent at speaking and I am at record-keeping. Which one of us is superior depends on what you're talking about. Also, intelligence implies aptitude. I could be an artistic genius, but if all im ever exposed to is sweeping the floor and being treated like that's all I'm good for by my maker and master, then there's a good chance I'll never reach my artistic potential. The fact that SOME free serviles attack on sight those who would enslave, opress, and kill them is not really much of a mystery. Not all do though. That being said, the Shapers do seem to have responded to the risk of servile rebellion with a newer dumber breed incapable of much higher thought. I had actually considered the sexual aspect, but thought that maybe serviles mated differently. In other words they are physically incompatible because the plumbing is different.

You probably just misplaced the skin. Maybe you set it down to pick up some other stuff and forgot it. It happens.

The shaped cloak is the correct one, but you need purification elixer, not purified essence. To get purification elixer mix mandrake tinture and demon bile.
