  1. She was light blue in the beginning, she obviously has two sets of robes.
  2. Clawbugs/ plated bugs: Ouch! and Useless. I don't make any Alphas. Rothgroths are: ET and (something I can't remember). Thahds are known as Rocky. Drayks are Snakey and Charred. Gazers are Headache and Migraine. Fyoras are Cute and Cuddly. Vilsh are Delicious. And I think that's about it.
  3. Perhaps the Sucian Natives sent out in the wrong direction on the sea (such as sailing from Europe, around the Americas, and finally reaching China [though I doubt it]) I like Emp's idea better that the islands were already settled and one of the continents were just settled more.
  4. There's Shotwell in the Poryphora ruins and if you cheat, you can take Greenfang the entire game by using dbugkill when dealing with Shalia.

It's a game, how could you carry around 30 puresteel breastplates anyway? Besides, if you get into combat, you can just drop whatever you're carrying. I would like a Nethergate style game where you can choose to start out helping the shapers or the rebels and have an opportunity to switch sides in the middle of the game. That could lead to more varied endings. Like if you start out a shaper and remain shaper, they will reward you greatly but if you start out as a rebel, they won't trust you as much no matter what you do.
  6. The spines don't take away damage they just deal a percentage of melee damage (without amour) back to your attacker. And if I were you, I wouldn't make the all-protector. The Essence Aegis or the quicksilver bulwark is much better.
  7. I think they have no mounted creatures because they would be easy to cast terror on to. If a shaper was in the middle of casting a killer spell, all the enemy would have to do is scare his mount. It probably takes a lot of concentration to cast spells and ride horse-like creatures effectively. I thin it would be ineffective to mount guardians just because all the enemy would have to do is get a battle alpha/beta and punch them off their mount.
  8. Quote: giveasnack Does that work in all of the Geneforge games?
  9. Quote: The other dude showed up too late in the game and just didn't really cut it. Whose the other dude?
  10. Quote: Hehe,I did NEVER have troubles there;I only use the cheat ``dbugkill´´ and poof, monsters gone experience taken. Is the easy way [Razz] .But be carefull when you use this cheat,it can be a BIG trouble if you use it in certain points,by an example,in G3 if you use it in Darkstone Core, you kill the servant mind. Why? If you cheat at least cheat effectively. Use iamweak it is more efficient. Back to the topic: absorb your fyora and make a kyshakk. Train in the Barrier Zone until you level up. Put all your points into intelligence and create several drayks. When you feel ready to defend the rebels, essence shield your creations and bless and haste.
  11. There is no way he found the Trakovites. The game in GF3 had a rebel ending and rebels use crazy amounts of canisters. If he did found the Trakovites, he is either a hypocrite or he got the ending that your a rebel and didn't use canisters.
  12. Saying that an average human is about 6 feet tall, it is about 2.5-3 times the size of what it's holding. So that is about 15-18 feet. Drakons are 12 feet so I think it is an Unbound.
  13. Quote: Wingbolts are very nice...i prefer rebel creations over shaper ones, though. Don't both Shapers and Rebels use wingbolts? I thought wingbolts were very nice. You get them before you can get a Gazer and buy the time that you can, they are just as strong. Three hated wingbolts can possibly due over 1200 damage.
Formez vos battaillons! Marchons, marchons! Que leur essence abreuve nos sillons! Uhhhhhhh... Translation please?
  15. There should be a selection for average people. I would want to be a professional canister maker. I can just imagine how to mess people up. *makes canister* *new recruit uses it* You just grew another nipple!
  16. Drakons ahhhhhhhh..... yessssssssss Power.... Muahahhhhhaaa
  17. Reading some of the old threads will give you "spoilers" but it is much more fun to play the game.
  18. Well I don't think in GF1 there was any you could recruit. However, In GF2 there was a huge roamer and a rat in one of the marshy areas, and a battle alpha somewhere that I can't recall (maybe more?)In GF3 you can take Alwan and Greta right outside of the school. And in GF4 there is Greenfang in Southforge Citadel and Shotwell in the Shaper Camp. There may be more, however those are the main ones that I remember.
  19. It means that if you take 100 damage, wearing those gaunlets would let you take 96. But the % is not cummulative. You have to take each piece of armour separately . For example you are wearing 5 peices of armour that each reduce damage by 20%. A monster hits you for 100 damage (without armour) The first piece takes away 20 damage. 100*0.8=80 The next takes 20 percent of that. 80*0.8=64 64*0.8=51.2 51.2*0.8=40.96 40.96*0.8= 32.768 The armour only took away 67.232 damage not 100.
  20. What class are you, whats your level, and what creations do you have?
  21. At that point in the game fyoras really don't cut it. Keep your strongest one and make 2 cryoras and a thad for a meatsheild.
  22. Working from beginning to end is a good idea. When you start at Geneforge 4, the gameplay runs much smoother and you may have trouble playing Geneforge 1 because you are used to the different engine. I had trouble replaying the first one because of the lack of spells and the graphics weren't as good.
