I don't mean to be dense, and I do honestly appreciate your help, I just need a bit of clarification, I think. I edited the file z4eastroaddlg.txt by changing the nextstate from -1 to 5 on talknode 6, and then pasted this at the end of the file. I then went to the east rode, and to the obelisk right before the training grounds, and clicked on it. But nothing happened. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? Am I not do something? And by money cheats, I was refering to the ilovemoney and givememoney codes. Do they not work in Geneforge 3 anymore? I thought they did. Once again, I apologize for being dense, and appreciate your help immensly.

Thanks Dolphin. Is there by any chance a mac version? Seems like there isn't from that thread, which I suppose leads to a dead end for me. Thanks for your help though. Anyone have any clue about the money cheats not working?

JMAN, that's very interesting, thanks. I was wondering, though, where can I find the GF2 editor it calls for? And the script it calls for, I assume that is the one in the script folder, correct? This intrigues me, and thank you very, very much.

I've finished the demo, and until I can buy the game, want to have fun with codes and cheats, but they don't seem to work. Do the not work in the demo? Are they case-sensitive? Do they only work in friendly areas? What am I doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
