  1. Yet another trainer, created by Yours Truly. Note that the game does not properly recognize character stat modifications. For this reason, they have been removed from this trainer. Instead, take advantage of the 'Unlimited Skill Points' hack, so you can train your characters to their full potential. Enjoy! (P.S. - Roll your mouse over the title!) Download it here! [3/9/05] Also check out my Geneforge 2 Trainer !

My trainers have the ability to modify player stats, as seen here. The game recognizes the changes made, but it seems like they are just numbers. In other words, look at the upgrade costs in the second column. If the game actually used the levels shown here, the upgrade cost would be immensely high. Also, when you upgrade a stat, the levels change back to their original value. To make everyone's lives easier, I just granted unlimited skill points so that you can upgrade to whatever level you want, and to the game, it's legitimate. Hope that helps. - Xix -
  3. Is anyone still interested in the Avernum 3 Trainer?
  4. After being absent for a while, I have finally returned to the gaming scene. I'll try my best to be a little more active than I have been. No guarantees, though. My game's release has been delayed due to coding problems. If anyone has any requests for custom trainers for any games, please let me know. If I have the game, or am able to get the game, I'll try my best to provide some decent trainers. Keep in mind that I can't complete all requests, and that these take time to create, so be patient with me. Feels good to be back Did everyone miss me? - Xix -

Even HTML can be a headache at times. Lol. He's right, though. These are pretty complicated. This one was written using C++ and Visual Basic, with additional parameters to control writing of hex values in memory. If you feel up to the task of learning this, I'd love to see a Mac version you are able to create. I'm sure there are several people out there who could benefit from such a trainer. As for now, such a task would be too time-consuming for me to tackle, with the game being so close to the launch date. If you decide to try your hand at this, feel free to throw any questions you may have at me. I'll try to help you out as much as I can
  7. Quote: Originally written by -: Not to bring up old topics back, but dude, your trainer is tyte! I'm liking the unlimited essence part alot, which is really cool. Good job! Thanks a lot Quote: Originally written by -: Btw, what's this game about? It doesn't say anything on the beta application form. I want to know what I'm testing out. You play the role of a bird named Jet. Evil villains have threatened the lives of your loved ones, and you now find yourself competing in a series of trials to claim the title of Action Bird before it falls into their hands. The trials consist of 'Jump & Run' levels, puzzle levels, a 'Wondersphere' mode, puzzle designer, and car/motorcycle/plane racing. There are tons of worlds to explore, enemies to battle (with custom AI and fighting engines), and challenges to overcome, making this a game for audiences of all kinds. 8. Sorry to say this, but this project has been placed on hold for a while. I've been busy working with a team called Romac Studios, designing a PC game called 'Action Bird', which will be published in stores this coming March. If anyone is interested in beta testing this PC game, you can sign up at The Online Action Bird Beta Test Application . The upcoming Romac Studios website will soon be available at www.romacstudios.com . You may also visit our publisher's website at www.dreams-in-motion.com . * We are currently looking for 300 beta testers. So far, we have selected 50. Now is the time to apply! - Xixao -
  9. Try downloading straight from Spiderweb. RealArcade uses modified versions of games that tie into their own game browser. This most likely affects whether the trainer works or not. Hope this helps.
  10. Yes, when these both become available, I will create trainers for them. I'll begin working again on the other trainers tomorrow night. I'm finally back from my business trip, so I can finally devote some time to it. I'll keep you posted. - Xix
  11. Certainly. I'll create the modification once I return from my business trip. I'll let you know once I have it completed. - Xix -

  13. Woohoo 50+ posts. Cha-ching Anyhoo... As for the BoA trainer, everyone enjoys a suped-up external trainer for their games... at least, everyone I know. I'm currently in Texas, though, and won't be back to do any further work on it until the 29th (I live in Michigan). I'm going to go over the built-in trainer again to see what features it doesn't have that I could add to it. Also, I think I'll switch the order of things and create a GF1 trainer following this one. I plan to cover all Spiderweb games. I'll keep you all posted. BTW... only 2 ratings?? Oh well. *sniff* - Xix -
  14. Well, if it makes things simpler, I could very easily combine the adjustments into a single button by pushing all the actions through at the same time. I figured it would be nicer to have full control over the modifications, though.
  15. Quote: This looks like an interesting idea for an editor, though it has the possibility to really screw up your game (and it's only for Windows). There's a lot more you can do when you're editing the memory than when you're just doing what the scenario can do. Neat project! Ya, memory editors such as mine can be very powerful and virtually limitless in their modification capabilities. Rest assured, I was very specific concerning which values were edited, which were frozen, and which were left alone. I wouldn't release an unsafe product. I'll get a little more advanced with the next wave of trainers, once I learn what data the games pump into memory. A little off-topic: If anyone out there plays Gunbound, I created a neat little trainer for the Indo version. I'd be happy to post a copy if anyone is interested. - Xix -
  16. Thanks everyone I'll be leaving on a business trip this week, and I'll be gone until the end of the month. I'll begin working on it again once I get back. I'll keep everyone posted. - Xix -
  17. Sneak preview of Blades of Avernum Trainer Here's a sneak peek of the newest trainer I've been working on. It's still unfinished, as you can tell from the preview, but it is working. There are a few bugs that I may not be able to do anything about, though. The game's intelligence seems to have evolved, and it recognizes that my trainer modified it. It resets all stats once it realizes something has changed, but I have modified the trainer to battle against it and lock the stats in place. I'll keep everyone posted on the progress. - Xixao -
  18. The Mac version and Windows version of the game are two different programs, and the way they operate is not the same. This trainer modifies certain values stored in memory, and is exclusive to Windows 95 and above. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to construct a Mac version for you, as I operate only on Windows. Maybe this will inspire someone to make this a project of theirs? Either way, good luck. I hope you find one that works for you. - Xixao -
  19. While I'm sure that such a mod would be helpful to others, it is one I'm not willing to do. As a game designer myself, I know how much work is involved in producing a game, and I wouldn't want to rob Spiderweb of their chance to make a sale. If everyone could download the demo but play like a registered copy, the designers wouldn't make a profit for their hard work. In any case, I'm working on new trainers in the following order: - Blades of Avernum - Avernum 3 - Avernum 2 - Avernum It seems a little odd to work backwards like that, but I'm sure the latest games are the ones people are most interested in, so they will be my focus. I'll post the trainers in their proper location in the forums, but I'll provide links here. Keep watching - Xixao -
  20. Basically, yes, it could be considered a character editor. It gives you unlimited Skill Points to max out your stats, unlimited gold, unlimited Essence to build a massive Creation army, unlimited health, and insane amounts of experience. You have full control over what modifications are made. More features are in the works, including Skill Level modifiers, and item modifiers. Once the bugs are worked out, I'll release a new update. Enjoy - Xixao -
  21. Yea, the game is designed to disallow adjustments once you hit "x" number of stat increases. My trainer fools the game by resetting those counters when you re-enter the stat screen. Well, I think I'll let everyone play around with this for a while, and I'll go to work on the Avernum series. I'm sure they're all alike, so you should see similar trainers popping up soon for those games - Xixao -
  22. Ya, I know what you're talking about. Strangely enough, though, I earned those skill levels without the help of any trainer or hack, and it still behaved the same way. It's something in the game itself. Please let me know if you experience any other problems though. Thanks, - Xixao - :EDIT: I've looked further into it, and found a way around the problem. It appears it's an error in the game itself, almost as if you're not expected to reach the max in all stats. When I run the fixed mod, however, the game tends to freak out and the stats bounce from max to zero and back again. It's strange. Also, if you exceed the max by manually adding points to it, when you leave the screen and return to it, the points revert back to their max value. This is certainly a strange problem to have.
  23. Sorry about that, Slasher. When I uploaded the update, I neglected to rename the file to match the previous version. The link should work now. As for the item modifier, etc, I'm looking into that and other possibilities. There's a lot of hex to sort through, and a lot of experimenting to find what values control what. I'll continue to work on it, and post the updates here. I have a feeling that your inventory is somehow stored in memory using the same method as your character stats. If that's the case, I'll include a sub-module that will allow you to add any item to your "backpack" with just a click of a button. How nice would it be to start the game with the best gear? Please let me know what you think of the trainer once you have tried it out. Any feedback is appreciated - Xixao -
