  1. Several Questions.

I cant remember how to get into the Alien slime's lair. I've taken out all of the slime pits but the barrier's still there. How do I get to the Alien Slime???

As well the anvil in the ruins of Clochis, I cant open it, how much strength is needed, and does the active char use their strength, or is it automaticly the strongest character?

How do you get into the door after the game mentions the 'sun symbol of Avernum' I have unlock doors, albiet, at level one, do I need to improve this?

  2. Player#1

    Class Sniper-Mage

    Nephil

    Nimble Fingers atribute

    Focus-Tool Use

    Assasination

    1-3 Lvl of Mage+Priest

    Player#2

    Class Sniper-Mage

    Slith

    Elite Warrior Atribute

    Focus-Pole Weapons

    Strength

    1-3 Lvl of Mage+Priest

    Player#3

    Class Sniper-Mage

    Human

    Divinly Touched attribute

    Focus-Melee Weapons

    Assasination

    1-3 Lvl of Mage+Priest

    Player#4

    Class Sniper-Mage

    Human

    Atribute- Natural Mage

    Good Education

    Focus- Priest Spell

    Mage Spell

The Sniper-Mage class, is my own invention, using mainly spells, and assasination, one can score large hits on monsters, while still having a back up plan if the manapoints run out, and not wasting the valuble mp of your more powerful mage, as a result of the creation of a priest-mage with melee.

  3. Im not quite liking the A4 idea, but if i where to be able to choose some features:

    Vahantai as a Playable Race

    More Freeplay

    Less linar

    Spells- MORE!

Modify the Nephil boost with bows to be similar to the "nimble fingers" atribute

What would be neat, is a Prologe to the Avernum/Exile, where you play the Explorers sent by the empire.

    or

A "spinoff" where you are the an Empire Detatchment for the Empire/Avernum War in A2

  4. Most likely of all:

There will be someone trying to overthrow the shapers, who will force you to do some inexplicable and impossible task to join them

G1: That servile who wants you to kill that guy in the fort(impossible without cheating)

You will have to kill a large amount of Ranged and Melee enemies to get across a bridge to get to a game critical level, but cant because its only the first few minutes.

You will be confused for most of the game by the constant warring of ridiculous sects who probably dont deserve your help anyways.

(Honestly, the sects just annoy me, because you are influenced to join them by the characters/ to make the game easier)

Well, i played the entire, yes the entire, demo of G1, as a guardian, i had an army of Creations at my side, casted fireballs, and hit like a Drake. You need to work on everything you can.

—Alorael, who will add that joining the Anama makes sense for a singleton. It's hard to make a mage-priest-fighter, and if you have to sacrifice one of those, mage is the easiest to give up. That makes the Anama a good choice.
Well, I Quote to point, The fact that this is mostly what a 4 player party does, (unless you are me) Has 1 mage, 1 priest, 2 fighter. They dump the mage back in the Unused room in Fort Emergance, and then, bring their person back. It works!

Travel through the swamp and when you get to the nest and take the spear, the shambler attacks you.
And AFAIR, there are several different spellshards. Once each day, you can use it to cast a spell. I think. I could be wrong.
Spellshards, are similar to mindcrystals then, where as mind crystals give you an ability, these are a spell
  9. I still cant seem to make it get through the stupid chasm room. However, i am told to go to Elgi or Egli or someplace like that, to remove the dread curse i recieved as i could not find Dahris(sp?)-Bok's resting place, and believed that it was not important. Where is this? Is it accessible in the Demo?

As well, i normally grab anything i feel is of value, at the moment, i cant find anyplace to sell my spoils. So, i store anything, i dont need, or wont sell, but i cant find anywhere to do this. There is an empty house or two in Avit, would it be safe there?

  10. My opinion, agents have an infinitly larger advantage in G2 than they did in G1, but consequently, it takes away from my personal favorite in G1, the guardian, as for the shapers, they remain, more or less the same in the ratio.

I did all of the Demo(G1) as my guardian, he could cast spells as well as any Agent, and I had an army of creatures so big you couldnt stop it with anything (except an equally large army of those acid spitting worms.) And i had no clue as to what was going on in the history of the game.

G2, that was just ridiculous, I knew that The awakened could still exist, but the Super Serviles( forgot the name of their faction) being wrong, i mean, that is not logical!!

I dont think that the usage of the spreading out of the difficult areas was good. The most difficult areas where the ones that more or less mimicked those from G1 that where EASY, the ruined school level, for instance.

I personally will send a ton of angry emails to those who created Geneforge 3 if it is as poorly done as G2.

    I prefer G1
