  1. Is there any definitive answer on the history of the Player Character in Geneforge 5? I recently played through the GF2 Remaster, and decided to start another run through GF5. I had always grouped 1&2 together, then 3-5 together, but I'm starting to wonder if the PC is actually a past hero from GF2. If you explore The Foundry Repository for the Trakovite Entry Quest, you find out that you're an amnesiac Rawal found wandering in the Drypeak Mountains, who had significant alterations. At first, I thought this refutes the idea that you're reprising the character from GF2, since but later, when you get to the Oasis Fields and talk to Sage Lara, she seems to indicate that you played a significant role in your past (which was in the Drypeak Mountains). To quote her, After thinking about it more, Rawal only found the PC - he didn't see what altered them, and it seems like the Canisters and the Geneforge work the same way. Is it possible that Rawal mistook heavy canister usage for Geneforge usage? I assume that he built his Geneforge in order to repair your damaged character, since the geneforge rewrites genes.
  2. I'm trying to build an Infiltrator that can always attack twice during their turn. I have the assassin boots (+2 AP, among other things), and I'm under the encumbrance limit. Sometimes, I start a turn with 9 AP, sometimes I start it with 10AP. Is there something other than Encumbrance that affects extra action points?
  3. Sorry, I should have thought better of that. I was frustrated because it didn't make sense to me. So, it calculates the stun resistance by adding the percentage of the uncovered amount? 1.00 - .21 = .79 (stun vulnerability, .21 is base reduction) .79 * .40 = .316 (modified reduction in stun vulnerability) .21 + .316 = .526, rounded to 53%? That feels really counter intuitive to me. If it's always going to reduce the vulnerability, is it possible to get to 100%?
  4. I'm playing an Infiltrator and keep getting stunlocked by Glaahks and Spinecores. After all the frustration, I decided to start investing in Strength for base Stun resistance, and to be able to wear armor to add to it. After playing with it for a while, it looks like the formulas are bugged and I can't figure out what's going on. At STR 7, my character has 21% stun resistance with no armor. When I add the Glaahk Shield (+40% stun resistance), my Stun Resistance goes to 53%. https://imgur.com/a/zpsiw68 When I equip all my stun resistance armor (so far), I would think my stun resistance should be 100% Base Resistance, 21% Pustulant Greaves, +4% Farsight Breastplate, +25% Glaahk Shield, +40% Stability Bauble, +10% ============= All Modifiers = 100% Instead, it's just 70%. WHY? How is Stun Resistance Calculated?
