  1. The Geneforge mechanics are amazing for minion based casters. But why instead of creating life, why not also creating "unlife"? The history behind a necromancer in Sucia coudl be something like "You are a member of hidden faction which lost a terrible war against the shapers and was on blink of extention. As an apprentice of a powerful necromancer and a coven of necromancers, your life is contant study and fleeing from one hideout to another, trying to learn as much you can from your master and create rebellions while hiding in the shadows of Shaper's society. After many years, your identity is revelated and you had to run. Having listened to rumors about Sucia and mysterious powers there, you and your coven decide to get to Sucia, after many weeks in sea, you and your conven finally reach your destination". Now, general faction changes : Obeyers will attack you on sight Takers will be interested on you Awakened will be interested on your powers Alliance with some "end game" NPC's locked out Possible endings - MAJOR: Allow your master to study the geneforge, corrupt it with unholy magic and ascend into undeath, then, creating a undead army and transforming Sucia into a undead magocracy Destroy the geneforge following the advice of a Shaper agent, become a enemy of your necromancer coven, betrayed and killed by Shapers in the end. Players will also get the chance of transforming important human and servile NPC's into undead, by convincing them or not and it will impact the ending. Gameplay changes : After using the "geneforge", the main character can either become a Lich or a Vampire, both getting bonus levels to its undead creations and lots of resistances vampires will get bonus to AP and mind magic and liches to battle magic and more armor. Mind magic remains the same, healing craft too. Battle magic has a FROSTbolt instead of firebolt and kill from further geneforge games is added into the game but requires a unique quest. Blood lance comes, doing massive damage but damaging the caster 3 categories of creation. Skeletal, replacing "fire", flesh, replacing "battle" and "shadow" replacing "magic". Specters and wind walkers already are in the game. Necromancers will gonna control them.
