OK, I actually figured out how to get it running. I had to go into "Privacy & Security" in the macOS settings, and allow it to launch the game (I think maybe because the game is unsigned?). Hopefully this post is at least helpful to someone else in the future...

I bought "Geneforge 1 - Mutagen" on Steam, and I get this error when I try to launch it on my 2018 Intel Macbook Pro: I've uninstalled and re-installed it several times, and I always get the same error. Is it not compatible with older macs?
