Whats Scenarios ave you released, Also, Gimme some short scenario suggestions if you can. I Dont want any "Everthings in one Dungeon" like valley of the dying things was.

Any shorts like Bandits Busywork was? I dont mean short short like bandits busywork was, but some medium length scenarios

Ive finished, Valley of the Dying Things, Small Rebellion, Zakhasi Run, Bandit Busywork, and islands of the wheel, and have therefore run out of scenarios to complete. I have all this free time and would love to try some scenarios people suggest to me.

Any good Suggestions anyone? Personal Favorites?.

As well if you have created your own scenario and want someone to test it out or try it, Im open to anyone who would need someone for that.

I'm guessing it's because you used an ordinary text editor, instead of a hex editor, and moved some stuff around by accident.

Heres the thing, I didnt edit any text file of it at all, heck i never even opened it in text format. Idk how the skill reached 256 but im not clicking 256 times to fix it in the editor, nor am i opening it in text format to fix it either.

Ima just leave it be then and not use feodoric for traps

Ah yes i found out already, After told in buzzard to kill an empire captain.. If i kill the captain then im betraying the empire then right huh.

Well i refuse to betray the empire and went to willow to report, so told me to tell them i wanna meet stalker first, so now im in stalkers fortress right outside his throne room with steel plates and magically studded armor.

Mages are ready and i will soon taste the victory of Stalker falling by my hand .

And i couldnt believe that no shop anywhere in the lands sold shields >.>

I mean, none of that *should* cause this to happen, but I'll put money that it was one of those things that caused it, and not the game itself.

 

If the file suddenly changes type without explanation, that's a pretty good clue that something is going on outside the normal bounds.

Ok, And my build is the one that SpiderWeb software made itself, The first one, designed for the older computers. A.K.A Not the one that was made by the public (Eg. THE NEWEST BUILD S NOT DESIGNED/UPDATED BY SPIDERWEB SOFTWARE, IT IS EDITED BY THE PUBLIC)

So ive started on the adventure in the "Small Rebellion" Scenario on BOE. and ive been wondering with what the small intro said

Quote "But the Question is, Are you fighting on the right side?"

Anyone who has completed this scenario or beat it, or knows the answer to my question

Later in the scenario will I find myself Betraying The Empire and Fighting with the Hill Runners?

Later in the Scenario will i be given the choice in to Choose a side? Like will i be given the choice to Fight with the Empire or Fight with the Hill Runners

Tevildo, you're exactly right about the tables, yeah.

 

With 16-bit variables, 256 suddenly appearing sounds like an out of range error -- i.e., the program attempted to increase something else by 1, but mistakenly increased the high byte of the disarm traps skill by 1, instead.

 

Mr. Bacon, have you done anything at all with your save files (any of them) other than playing scenarios? e.g., use of the editor to edit things BESIDES skill, poking around with a text editor, etc.

For some reason the file once became MAIN BLADE PARTY.SAV.txt

So i just changed it back to MAIN BLADE PARTY.SAV, and ive added gold and food to the party, added some spells and removed them, and thats all.....

This topic is really old yea lol, i ahvent been on the forum for a long while up until i now started playing Blades of Exile again,

6 Characters is best, in Exile 3, idk why they would have to make it 4 >.>.

In dungeons with stretch tables that go accross the room, leaving 1 open speace of movement on the ends by the wall

2 characters to block the pathways and 3 magicians to throw magic over the table, Good way to do things

Well i didnt do that 256 Disarm traps number so it is a real glitch lol. Ill have to undo it cus i dont wanna feel like im cheating that way.

What version of Blades are you using? With a one byte variable, 256 is the same thing as 0, so this smells like a weird variable format conversion issue, possibly specific to Feodoric's default data for that one stat.

That stat was at 0 when i started, and 256 being zero is unspeakable as i have used him to disarm traps and hes been successful on all of them.

And the Character "Frrrr" who in which in the party is the only one with Disarm Traps skill at 4 by default. Even Frrrr has failures on the traps that Feodoric is successing. And a Trap in Zaskiva(Capital city, Very Important Place so Traps here can be hard) feodoric even successfully disarmed that one too. so it is very weird

and ill tell you the build after i get home to see it.

I delivered the message to the troglodytes, and saved all the Empire Prisoners from the Hill Giants cavern and know that i got all the Items for the families of the dead and/or missing Empire Soldiers by giants.

How many Empire Troops were imprisoned in the cavern?, How many of the Items by lost empire troops families were to be turned in to the captain?

Is there anything i do about the troglodytes after i deliver the message the troglo king wanted me to give back to the mayor?

What will show me that i have completed and appeased the captain for the rescue of the troops and items given to him?

The Map that leads to the Hidden Cave for the Crystal that powers the walls separating the Troglodytes and Hill Giants I have already Obtained and have gotton to the Main Room that the Crystal Resides in. I saved there and now sit in there till i think of what to do.

When i Smash the Crystal and Both Races then become Focused on fighting each other once again

After i Escape the Battle between them and get outside the cavern or castle Where do i go? Who do i talk to?,

Is there someone in one of the surface cities near these 2 races that i speak to? or do i return to Fort Emergence to speak with my Officer of more findings?.

Do i talk to the officer for the giants. and the mayor for the troglodytes?

Either you are hella farther than me or this dungeon is Not Required to be entered in beating the game.....

How many of the monster plagues have you defeated yet?

Lol so what if dey have underwear xD, also the graphics are low quality so how can u tell if the graphics naked?, anyway it wouldnt matter as they are all covered in fur, so its not like you would see anything.

They atleast would wear a robe or something wrapped around there Belt line or "Hips" to hide everything like the native american indians wore cloths there

Ive started playing Blades of Exile again(Love it) and this weird thing i noticed with one of my characters.

Now my party has all the default names(Just cus i like them) Anyway character 5 "Feodoric" the Character with both Mage and Priest Skill.

When i was training characters and went into his skills i noticed something weird and not possible O.o,

Now I have not edited any of my partys skills using the blades of exile character editor so yea,

On Feodoric's "Disarm Traps" his skill point level on it was UP TO 256!!!!, This i say is not possible because no skill goes that high.

and i can take off it in the editor(Downgrade it in level) but not move it back up.

Was wondering if this was a bug?

what do u mean pieces as evidence? is there crystal shards or something on the ground, no i did not, neither did i know a such thing was to be picked up there either. what i did do tho was make a second party edited to be boss and used it to get to the exact cave and saved by the crystal so whenever i wish to read that message that pops up of the two keys i just go to the save game

Lol ok ill do so with the barriers and party trapping then xD, i just trapped it, broke the crystal and snuck through the fight with a Stealth Spell on me, but after getting a little bit away i got hit by a few rocks and then exited. i also rescued the soldiers and items in giants cave by recasting stealth as well, and i would save every step i took and when i was seen i would just reload until i got past, never had to find a thing,

also my party was weak in the secret cave, it took me half an hour to finish the fight with those spirits in the room with the moving walls, drove me nutts, so i didnt bother with the doomguard for that reason

So How to enter BlackCrag Fortress? or will i be allowed in because of my deeds to the south, cause is there someone i need to talk to in blackcrag of the "Alien Beasts" or am i just to go to Sulfras About that Monster Plague?

Ok then, i actually just made another exile game with a edited party with all max stats and weapons and just made all the dungeons visible, then just went to the cave and saved there so i can ReRead the text whenever,

But what are the Two Keys, One resides in BlackCrag fortress and one in Gale. i Know i shouldnt worry of it but its just weird to not know

I also just trapped the doomguard in Force barriers so nothing can attack it and it cant attack anyone, I dont even know how you would kill a doomguard since it just continues to split whenever its hit

Ive already Copleted this Plague(rescued all soldiers from the giants cave and killed the troglo kings nemesis elhioc. as well got all stolen soldier items)
