  1. Great, the return life spell works now, thank you Jeff.

frown But I found another bug in DwtD, that was not there in v 1.0: I couldn't fulfill anymore Helm's task to find a secret entry to the castle. He does not react when I come back to tell him. Well, it's a side quest anyway.

  2. I agree, that ZKR is kind of complicated, when you play it the first time. But, you got 14 days for the run, and once you learned to decide between important quests and surplus fights - e.g. you do need the poppy-charm from Moron - you have enough time, to save Fort Cavalier. There are always time-reminder dialogue boxes and warnings, when you enter a dead end.

The scenario would lose a lot, when it would be shorter. I appreciate the so called fillers, they allow you, to play it several times and to discover different ways to fulfil the main question.

The only thing, I dislike: you can't go back to follow the side quests after passing Koth's place ...

So ZKR makes you run - more than once.

  3. I tend to be a rather domiciled adventurer, and I miss a cosy home to return after doing quests (sigh). There are so many magical weapons and armours to find, more than I could wear, especially when I play with a single PC. And I loved Hawke's house in A3, because I could decorate it with worthless items like skulls or crystals laugh

Of course you could integrate a home into a bigger scenario, but it's senseless when everything is erased by leaving the scen (sigh again). BoA makes me homeless, alas, but you cannot have everything ...

  4. Are we the only blessed Romans?

I just started the game the first time and got total healing, because we could read the runes... Is that unusual?

I went with the proposed group and did not change anything. There is a wise guy in the team ( third eye on forhead) who comes allready with spell energy and some druid knowledge. Increased it, bevor we went down to the altar.

We met also somebody, who told us, he knew everything about druid runes. Maybe we learned something from there.
