Thanks for the reply everyone. I found the spell and skill FAQ on here. I don't know how I missed it the first time around. I will play around with it and see if I think the shade is getting stronger.

I wish we could she the dice rolls with all modifiers.

Well...this is frustrating. This has received a decent amount of views but no responses. If there is a FAQ or guide that details spell levels that I am missing, I would be more than happy to follow a link.

I have a level 10 character that I use as a healbot and summoner. He has 10 levels in priest spells, 16 points in intelligence, and a Summoning focus of 2.

For the last couple of levels and skill points when he summons a shade, it doesn't seem to be getting any stronger.

I am playing on hard if that makes a difference.

This game is tough, but fun. brings me back to the old D&D Gold Box days.
