My PC is x86, so I doubt that's the problem

I'm also getting a "segmentation fault" error on Ubuntu.
I have been able to install it though, following the instructions here, though I had to rename the file.
I get the following when I try to run it:
jose@jose-1011PX:~/avadon$ ./Avadon
Avadon: Installed in '.'.
Avadon: Using x86 version.
Segmentation fault
Can anybody help?
