  1. you are missing the platinum brooch

talk to the prisoner in dharmon, use the boat.

then he will direct you to mertis to a guy wich u will have to pay 100coins. he is behind the chapel, but will only sell if u have spoken with dharmon prisoner.

edit: at first when he told me the other guy went to mertis i thought it was talking about the pearl brooch u found in the undead spiral.

  2. wonder freely also poses a bad gameplay experience sometimes. sence the game is based around lvls u can easily outlvl some areas just cause "you went somewhere else first".

i cleared formelo/fort draco zone before i head down to mertis, wich in turn felt unchalenging.

also Sss-Thss (or whats his name) was really underwhelming cause i cleared other areas before seaking him, so i outlvl that area by far.

this is one aspect i prefer on A6 over A1, every fight is going to be a "chalenge".

edit: maybe this is the result of "doing sidequests first, then main quests" mentality from previews games.

  3. playing ot hard mode, first time. main char SW.

i use shaman and sorc for the extra speed from AoE'ing all the trash u find. althought at first i switched shaman for BM for some boss fights i dont do that anymore cause i actualy dont need to even if with some reloads (on torment might be diferent, cant coment).

hellhound and salamander work great vs dragons and fire casters cause of imunity. specialy usefull during the "no spoil" encounter to tank the multiple ilusions fire, 3-5 ilusions kept atacking them for 20rounds total wich prenvented alot of dmg on the party.

i still think that when ill do some of the optional bosses i might go SW BM sorc.

  4. i do actualy like the new "personality" of the team.

in AV u acted as a whole, not individualy, even if sometimes u fealt as being just 1 person on dialogs the truth is that there were 4 ppl there.

in avadon u are u, and its to u whom are the orders given, u then have to put up a team, make them follow orders, help them, put up/deal with their personal problems (tho slaping them would be a good option).

each of ur partie members have their own backstory and that brings something to the story.

i liked when nathalie runs and jennel in my party says somthing like "this is stupid, why should we chase some spoiled brat" and i said "didnt u just did the same a while back" "that was diferent.. i... *stays silent*"

but i get ur point, sometimes it feels like ur the only mature/grown up/non stuburn person there. still it is something diferente from what i was used to.

also at the start if u chat with them u will notice that they are all from diferent "countries" and each countrie thinks they are better then the others, and so do they, thus while some of them eventualy end up having little argument fights between them.

u are the balance in the midle of a hurricane, the eye of the storm, that prevents them from murdering each other while they sleep (or so i like to think of myself)

  5. this quest is in beraza pits.

i have finished the titans and still got this to do, i follow him, it says he looks the camp for something and doesnt find it and does the same on the other camps.

is there anything i have to do? look in the camp? threaten him?

  6. put an "untrainer" trainer in avadon, its quite anoying all the travel when u want to change 1 or 2 points.

with all the auto travel that has to be done i find myself tempted to check spells and quests during it so it wasnt so boring but it pauses the game. even when playing on windowmode and traveling if i check anything on my pc the game pauses. i know this could cause problems wandering into monsters but u dont just auto walk where u havent explored yet.

being able to see trapdoors and laders in fog of war would be nice.

with the space under the spell and tool bars it would be nice to put another 4 slot bar under it.

in avernum u usualy had those few spells u would be using almost always every turn.

in avadon managing the spells available is good as u cant use the same spell over and over and having multiple choices will help burst or be more versatil vs monsters resistences but sometimes (with scarab abilities) i find myself forgeting i have more spells than i actualy do.

    this is a good idea
  8. i personaly dont like the food thingy :S was the most boring part on exile games.

at first it gets anoying when u die and dont know why, then when u figure it out u start to buy food wich was sometimes "expensise", and then u learn to rush formelo and buy the cheapest of them all.

1 part i hated was when u stack loads of food on E2 before going in the rapids the... puff... all gone. died a few times before i perfectly reach vanhatai lands to buy food and before i found the secret vanhatai stash :S

but my opinion maybe be clouded by the hatefull memories writen above tongue
