Ah, that explains why I never noticed it before. I thought it might've involved lore or something.

I have been trying to figure out. I've noticed several pool of water (typically the ones that heal you once/recharge energy/poison you) and a few of them cause you to 'gain new insight'. What does this mean?

The later summon spell you get in the game are much more useful than say, the first one.

This may or may not help you, but in my fight my mage summoned a fire lizard. The fire lizard's breath was extremely damaging to the sentinel for some reason.

I never would have done the drake quest if I knew that they'd have been that angry!

Basically, I completed the "free the drake" (whose eludes me at the moment) quest, then went on to kill all the bandits and explore a ton of areas and what have you. I'm assuming that freeing the drake angers the towm here, because I can't think of anything else that I did. After killing the bandit leader and saving I went back to Harkin's Landing and one of the NPCs outside attacked me, forcing me to kill it.

My question is: how do I get the town to stop trying to kill me? I know in some previous Avernum games there was an option in the character editor to reset towns. Thanks in advance!
