Would the shapers even accept creations beyond their control into their soceity?probably not.
Also them letting your servile character live is because:
a)Thats just ONE servile,as opposed to a group of drakons/eyebeasts/drayks
b)So playing as a servile is possible in game.Quote:Originally by Emperor Tullegolar:

Oh,and the shapers managing their empire by doing the same is ok? -
This is beginning to go off-topic
P.S.ambidextrous FTW!

I say the same as DokEnkephalin (but I still want to shape things!)

I prefer drakons but thats just me

Quicksilver gear + Cloak of Shadows = 2 attacks per turn without being hasted!!!
Quicksilver gear + Cloak of Shadows + Haste = around 4 attacks per turn!!!

In GF1 one of my characters used the geneforge and built an empire,Yet in GF2 he must have had a heart attack overnight because nobody knows who he is!
Same in GF2,my barazite must have been abducted because in GF3 the shapers do not seem to know he ever existed.
Chances are in GF5 the same thing will happen and all the unbound will be gone for no reason.

nevermind! I figured it out... Purest Emerald is made from trying to forge the girdle of succor. It also gives a ridiculous boost to your intelligence.
Any reason you would want 7 eyebeasts with their endurance and dexterity maxed out?!

You never see any human/servile/drayk children either for that matter.Where could they have gone?
-
I must object to 4.The class would probably be WAY too overpowered unless it was highly nerfed (low esscence?)

Seviles like working for their masters. Just ask any non-tainted one. When given the chance to live in the wild, they will often have difficulty living on their own, and yearn for the safe loving arms of their masters.Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
The ones that succeed away from shaper care often end up crazy and/or violent.Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
As for drayks and freeborn serviles, they are all rogues. They have natural violent tendancies, they kill innocents and even fight amongst each other.
As for drayks there are some exceptions.Shorass and Wyx (From GF2) didn't exactly go around declaring war on others did they?Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
They were given the chance to live on their own on Sucia Island, and what did they do?They formed factions and started attacking each other!Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
They are barely capable of reason, they are greedy, they are hostile, they must either submit or be killed simply to protect the innocent in the world. -
I just recieved an image in my head of a blue-tinted lifecrafter walking through greyghost mountains

There is no evidence of Shaper cruelty from before the Rebellion. They treated creations as inferior, sure, but they still fed and cared for them. There is no evidence of them having genocided other species, either.Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
However, if they did, there was probably good reason.
Shaper 1:A group of serviles are having independant thoughts!
Shaper 2:We better kill them then!
*shapers go to serviles and blast them to bits with spells*Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar:
You should be happy to have the Shapers as the dominant power in the world. They protect people and send creations into battle so humans don't have to dieQuote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar: They give people serviles to work for them, ornks to eat, and even simple things like tools.Quote:Originally written by Emperor Tullegolar: They're not even that tyranical -
Would it be possible in any way to edit the propoties of an item via editing a script?
for example if I wanted the skein of wisdom charm to give +2 intelligence instead of +1 intelligence would it be doable?
I know the item info is kept in the gf4itemschars.txt file but I don't know what to edit!

Monarch: Who Is He?
in Geneforge Series - Originals

only one slight flaw with the Trajkov theory. It's mentioned in GF1 that the Sholai are physically distinct from the 'Shaper' race. If Monarch was indeed Trajkov, everyone would be able to recognize this and acknowledge that he ISN'T a rebel or shaper.
