Nethergate of course... it was my first Spiderweb game, and it will always be my first spiderweb game. Not like I can change that. Besides, Avernum is not Nethergate. Duh.

 

Anyway, This is a good idea for a poll. You can judge the game on graphics, so you're stuck with gameplay. Proffesionals should catch on.

I've alwaysed pronounced sidhe is "shide". As long as you don't pronounce it "shidey" in public, I think it doesn't matter.

I tried to play that once, via emulator (shame on me... I did it the legal way though!). It was impossible to get past the part where you had to hit more than one button at once. You can quite achieve that on a computer's keyboard.

Yeah... the arrogance facter is indeed important.

Chinese VS Mongols maybe? Or Roma- wait, that was the first one. Umm.... all of the sidhe should magically poof into existence when the other place is corrupted. They would poof right into WWII. Sylak's Talking Gernade anyone?

Yes. Just yes. Nethergate is the best. I mean, the CD came with the exile demo's. That's just awesome. Do the other CD's come with demo's? Im too cheap to find out myself.

 

PS: We should all just break out our copies of Nethergate and replay it. Only if it's for the period where Jeff is busy on his next game (after the window's version of Avernum 4). It might revitalize this part of the forum a bit.

As alot of you know, one of the greatest things about Nethergate is the superb charecterization. The wide variety of charecter traits and personalities makes this game unique, and those little sprites so loveable. Please, if you wish, post your favorite charecter and where they are. Yes, you can pick sylak's talking skull

 

I would pick the raven at the top of the raven home. He is so cool... just talking to him makes you look up and say "Screw god. This guy is way more powerful and wise!"

I never liked macs in the first place. I find them... to be frank, plastic boxes of crap. No offence to mac lovers.

Heh. Totally... Nethergate is one of my favorite RPG's, and one of my favorite games. I actually emailed Spiderweb awhile back, asking about nethergate 2. Jeff responed saying that it wasn't very likely. The mystery was the best part about nethergate... solving all of those puzzles to get to the Raven was so fun. That Raven also happens to be my favorite video game charecter of all time (next to Sephiroth and Link that is...)
