This will require retraining.  Well, at least the quicksave key is the same.  I may need it a lot...

I just started playing Queen's Wish 2 after finally finishing the first Queen's Wish game.  In the first 3 battles during the intro, I tried to use abilities by pressing the "a" key.  Unfortunately, the a key is mapped to movement, which in all cases was a poor choice of action.

Is there any way to remap the ASWD keys?  I tried to look in the keyboard shortcuts menu, but didn't find a way.

I myself like a mixed party, but one thing I can't stand is when my humans outlevel my non-humans. I usually use a combination of character traits to mostly even out the leveling.

I admit that it usually means all my characters have a 25% to 35% xp penalty, but as has been said before, reaching max level and gaining xp isn't really a problem in the Avernum games.

Does anyone know how useful the skills gymnastics and anatomy are, or what they do?

Forgive me if this question has been resolved before. I'm not sure about the sequels, but in the first Avernum game there seems to be some doubt as to whether Sulfras is male or female. I haven't found all the references, but two I have in my journal are from Khoth and the Slith Merchant:

Has anyone done or know of a website that has figured out precisely what benefits skills like barter and blademaster provide? I know what the descriptions say, but I'm curious if someone knows more about how they work. For instance, what percent of the value does each point of barter provide, if it works on such a scale?

I know I can use the character editor to some degree to figure these out, I'm just curious if someone else already has, and is willing to share.

I'm currently playing Avernum. I don't know if the skills change in the sequels or not.
