I don't remember Exile III, but I've played Avernum 3 some month ago...Hope it's the same.

Dispel Barrier is your reward for the Troglo Castle mission, in (Sharimik) so, not in the demo...

In Avernum 3, about the murders, you have to speak with Aneximander (spelling ?), so, your boss in Upper Avernum, and then, speak with the agent send in the New Formello's Inn.

But I think I've read something like there wasn't Aneximander in Exile III, so...Try the inn.

I think Avernum is not for the Exile trilogy players, but for the people who can't play Exile, cause of the graphics and the interface.

I've try to tell my friends they have to give the spidweb's games a shot, but they just can't. Actually, some of them like Geneforge, cause the graphics look good, and it's not just a turn by turn game.

I was thinking about Avernum 4 with the Geneforge kind of graphics, it's not bad, what do you think ?

I like the troglo, cause of their design. Their quest isn't too difficult, and after I attack the castle. The slimes and the crockoack (?) are nice too. I hate the giants cause they throw rocks, it doesn't make so much damages, but it takes time...

Actually, I never finished the trilogy, cause I'm stuck in the Golem factory...So, I hate them too !

I've just download it, it looks great !

Perhaps I'm gonna try to make something with it...

This 3D editor is a good thing, perhaps now more people will try to make scenarios, just cause it's looking appreciably better.

Perhaps it's easier to use too, but I never tried, so, I can't make a great beta-tester...

I think I'm in love with "X" ! A really great character, a lot of fun, and a usefull teacher. How sad he doesn't appears in other Avernum games...

I'm level 17, and have 10 points in Intelligence, who gives me 186 essence pts, but of course, it's never enough.

Do you play with a few powerfull creations (like 2 boosted cryoras), or with a lot of smaller ones?

I play with 4 thads, 2 searing artilas, and 1 cryora, all with just 2 points in intelligence. I find the game really difficult!

I understand pretty well the Avernum system, but I don't get the Geneforge's one...

I have level 20 Searing Artila, but they have 0% to hit when I fight against the shades in the Crystal Caverns. So, I Bless them, but, same percentage...I have the same problem fighting the Sharon's Experimental Vlish.

I play a "blessing" Shaper, with no weapons skills, just...blessing magic. What can I do?

I've put some skill points in Battle Magic, but my hit percentage is really poor...

I think the items on the right of your caracter's graphic are too small...and with the item's name under the shop's items, it's difficult to see. I've sell a lot of items, by mistake, 'cause of that.

And I like the "make mines and turrets" idea. I imagine a lot of ambush with that...

If I remeber well, you earn the first level of Dispel Barrier after completing the Troglodyte negociator mission, in Sharimik.

If a guy haven't play geneforge, why is he gonna answer a geneforge question?

First, I've join the Awakened, and after the Takers, but I've killed Trajkov at the end, and destroyed the Geneforge without using it.

I've played with a Shaper, and found the game extremely difficult, sometimes...I have focus on just 3 or 4 powerfull creature, and get killed a lot of time...

But, so, the sects gives you advantages, and it's a shame to not play with at least one of them...

If you're loyal to the Shapers, you can join the Obeyers!
