In the start, there is this guard on the... Slimy coast? Halfway to Grindstone from Fort Monastery.

That guard has got a steel spear and it is actually even mentioned when you talk to the guard.

And while I'd like attack, attack, attack, attack, I would also consider having points in quick action. Think of it: Attack attack, attack attack, attack attack, attack attack.

With 3d(4d) graphics and 200 spells, 10 times bigger than all BoE and BoA scens combined... Well heck, 10-100 times everything there is now?

Realistic too, as why couldn't the spell be casted on someone other than you?

It's just that I would like Geneforge graphics to please Geneforge-philes and Avernum graphics to please Avernum-philes. I was totally shocked when I noticed the total lack of outdoors. I had liked them a lot in the other Avernums.

I'm hopeful now! If I go away for 10 years, I have Avernum 10 and Geneforge 10 to play?

Even with my oh so annoyingly weak shaper I decided to test, I found no WAY hard areas in the first island, exept the second test. I went to the second island, got to a fight with 6 roamers, got owned more than I was when I fought Warped Spawner with only me and fyora, and decided to NEVER use a shaper again.

I would like it to happen if not completely then even mostly at surface.

Well howewer, I have played avernum 3 trough, but I did only very little any sidequests, some of those seemed quite familiar, but I didn't know that there was so many leg.(legendary, not legal) quests.

For me I did the ending the HARD way, accepted erikas gift, got near the panel so many times he could not move me back, realised I had to do some things in basement, nearly crushed my com, got to sleep, after 4 months tried again, got away from Rentar and moved to basement, did alll stuff necessary, did all stuff not necessary, walked back to Rentar, was amazed because NOW Erika appeared, walked to the pedestal trying to kill monsters to help Erika(Wich was pretty stupid, there was 20 demons in both sides and whole place was full, my com nearly freezed.)(BTW, its fun in some bridge battles to do nothing but cast some monsters until whole bridge is full;))At last got to pedestal, saved, pressed all buttons(im non english) and won.

THATS the hard way.
