I'm pretty sure It didn't work, if you look I was the next comment after that post. Thanks anyway.

I've already started updating the mod myself. I found a few errors in it that I'm also correcting.

I'm trying to make it easier to copy the changes into RW so it wont be as much of a chore when the time comes.

    [UPDATE]

While I'm doing this does anyone have any change requests? (Maybe I should start a new topic?)
I thought of some changes I'd like to make but I'm not sure if I could do them.

    1. Bring back blunt weapons, (Based off the stick, they wont scale with any weapon skill, [?instead scale with Endurance?]. They will weigh at least twice as much as other weapons, good for paladins or tank builds). Not sure how to make it scale with endurance, I'd also have to replace existing items with hammers, any suggestions?

    2. I heard slith and nephilm were underpowered. They get less traits right? I want to offset that with items that are somehow exclusive to those races (I would rather make them level the same as humans do but I'm pretty sure that's hard coded).

I'd love to see the balance between magic and weapon back as magic is heavily overpowered in CS, and if you can please give some more non physical-based weapons such as fire spear or magic bows. I'm really looking forward to CS mods all this time cuz I'm tired of 4 spellcasters party but the misses are just too much for me to handle otherwise.

I greatly enjoyed the Akhari Blaze's ReRemix mod for EftP, and when CS came out I didn't like the idea of going back to the vanilla version so I waited to see if any mods would come out. I could have updated them EftP mod myself, but I didn't want to risk being spoiled on any new items. A year went by and I became distracted with [real life issues] for a while.

Now my [real life issues] have cleared up and I have some free time to get back into the Avernum games. I wanted to know if I missed any neat mods that I should look at. If not I guess I'll just update Akahari Blaze's mod myself, spoilers be damned.

    4. On the small island of Kneece, there is a stone circle where I believe there is supposed to be an opponent to fight. But nothing shows up. Do I need a quest to meet said opponent?

    5. On Lost Isle (Remote Isles), I think I missed out on a quest opportunity w/ Captain Brooks b/c I had a *gasp* Nephil in my party. Can anyone confirm that, and if so, what was the quest/reward?

    4. You need to read a book on a certain place to be able to locate the lair.

    Okay, minor gripe here.

I followed the instructions of the Troglo leader, killed Elhioc, snuck out, went and reported my victory, went to Lorelei.  In Lorelei, Bruskrud sent me to Grindstone to free prisoners and find soldiers' possessions.  So far, so good.

I found my way to the Giant leader Domaroth and all he said is that it's too late for talk and now I have to pay the blood debt.

What am I missing, I thought?  Reading the forum / help leds me to see there's a concealed tunnel, but I didn't have the map to find it (until after I kill Domaroth, so too late to negotiate with him), and trying to complete the quests for Bruskrud was just turning the Giants against me.  I lost about six hours of playtime by resetting my game to a save file from before I ventured off toward the Giants' castle, so it wouldn't be "too late" anymore, and on my second go I still couldn't figure out how to advance the Troglo/Giant Barrier Quest.  I just wound up having to fight Domaroth.  The gist of the quest and the dialogue with Domaroth led me to feel like there would be a discussion with the Giants like there was with the Troglos, and I wasted a good few frustrating hours on that.

There's a book in the giant's treasure room which show the location to deactive the barrier which i only find out after completed the golem plague thank to randomizer's list ...

  5.    Archers do pretty well from early to mid game ( at least to giants ), but after that their damage output fall in comparison to others most likely because at that time duel wielders should have enough durability and start  investing in damage skills, and mages surprisingly deal more damage with their firebolts (with fewer crits) to a single target as well.

Still honestly A3 is too easy even on torment for me. After the trologo everything seems like a walk in the park, i spent far more time to solve puzzles/traps than killing things. The last boss is a big disappointment as you can end it in 1 turn without killing anything, and even if you dont the boss can do next to nothing as well. I dont even use max-min build just standard melee/archer/mage/priest party. I may try to fight the dragons next to see how things turn out. Overall this game is 8/10, i hope i can see the A4-6 remakes as my first spiderweb game was Avernum 4 and i was hooked on everything after that.
