Just in case someone runs into the same problem I thought I'd clarify that you can complete this quest even if you do things out of order. I also returned the scroll before I got the quest from Aiden to speak with Khoth about the wards (thus getting the return scroll quest from Khoth). I had to go back to Aiden, go through the dialogue until I got the quest and then come back to Khoth and do the same thing. This opened up the correct dialogue and I was able to complete the quest and get him to teach me spells.

No I've done all that. I never was thrown into the pit (where it looks like some end up when crossing the bridge). I got some dialogue that said something about my tool use level being high enough... I can't remember what it said now and can't find the txt files to locate it. But I have been to all three levels (as far as I know). The first level, the level with the boats, and the level with the portals.

I'm trying to read the spellbook in the Crypt of Drath and get a message that says something along the lines of "without a way to bypass the magical protections..." etc. I don't know what I'm missing here.. I've been through the crypt a few times and keep coming back. I also can't seem to access the room that's elevated to the right / east of this spell book. I know I must have missed a hidden lever or something. I'm at level 32 close to the end of the game but this area has me completely stumped.

I thought I had also done all that and I had. But for some reason I was never given the script from Elphaba agreeing to send reinforcements to Blosk. I ended up also having to change one of the SFD's (114 8 2) so that I could deliver the message to Trac and then get the rune in Erica's ruins to work.

Ok well I am still stuck here. This is the only quest I have left other than the metal for Dawdy and Hunt down Rentar for King Starrus. I don't know whatI need to do still for Thrac to get him to agree to sending help Blosk. I'd just let this quest go, but apparently can't get to the underground Darkside Loyalists at Erika's ruins. I've been all through every other area of the game (including the suprise ending, which I did go through but then went back to an earlier save so I could complete this last quest). Thanks!
