Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
I have a fyora but I can also shape a kyshakk if I absorb the fyora. But the fyora appears to have better stats but the kyshakk has more HP and it is a kyshakk. The fyora leaves me with 93 essense left. The kyshakk leaves me with 61 essense. An alternative would be to shape a drayk. Which should I choose?
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
By about this time, a Fryoa should becoming fairly useless. Kyshaaks serve mostly as a meat shield. If you want something of comparable attack power for this stage in the game go for the Drayk.
Garrulous Glaahk Leftover Sauerkraut
I like using a drayk because in long, hasted battles, the kyshakk runs out of energy. And is this the same character as this one? http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=21;t=000404
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
The question just wasn't completly answered. But I will go with a drayk (though kyshakk is apparenly higher). Edit -(reads again) yes. And I tryed a drayk with puting 2 for each of the stat things (cost more essense). Left me with the same amount of essense as the fyora did, but he had more HP and did much more damage. Seems better than a kyshakk.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Drayks do tend to be more generally useful than kyshakks, especially for their lower cost. Also, it's worth thinking about not raising the stats of a creation immediately. If the essence you save by making the drayk with only two points of intelligence for control allows you to make more creations, like another drayk, then you should probably go with that. —Alorael, who has found that most of the game makes having more creations more useful than having a few powerful creations. The difference in power tends to be fairly small until you're a tier or two higher in creations you can make.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
2 drayks=63 essense left. Though they could destroy enemies quickly so I will not not much essense for healing. Another question -WEAR CAN I FIND A GOLD NECKLACE! I want to make a talisman of might.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
It easier to use items for healing in combat since they won't keep you tied down as a spell would and they use less APs. There are usually enough healing spores and rods to get by in the game. More creations tends to work out rather than increasing the power of a single creation. When you have to fight 4 or more creations at once you understand why. Gold necklace - if you haven't sold them all then at worst you can buy one from a merchant. Uchitelle is the most expensive so check the others, and I'm not sure where you can still find one this far into the game.
Ineffable Wingbolt Aequitas
Gotta use the kyshakk. The lightning cloud aftereffect is very useful, as it doesn't fade as quickly as acid/poison and does a ton more damage overall.
Garrulous Glaahk DokEnkephalin
The lighting cloud doesn't kill as quick as two drayks for the same essence price. But the kyshakk does suck up some damage, so you could put regen and spineshield on him and put him in the path of melee attackers. He's good against critters resistant to fire, but so are cryodrayks and they're much more effective.
Garrulous Glaahk Leftover Sauerkraut
Are you still stuck on that rebel fort fight? If so, make two drayks because wingbolts don't resist fire, they do good damage to kyshakks(I think), and wingbolts resist the kyshakk's attack. However, your drayks won't resist magic. Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Yes! I have made the talism of might that increases strength by 4. But what is vamporic touch? And is the talism of might good for a warrior (I think so).
Ineffable Wingbolt Aequitas
Vampiric touch allows you to steal some of your victim's life energy.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Okay, but is the Talism of Might a good choice?
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Well, it improves your attack and allows you to wear more armor, and you're playing a warrior, so...
Garrulous Glaahk Leftover Sauerkraut
Yes, +4 strength lets you use heavier armor, increases stun resistance, and adds like +12 damage to melee attacks. I think that is the best item for a warrior.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
What other items would be very good for me? Also, I like magic as well. And my creations are two drayks.
Understated Ur-Drakon Sudanna
Glaahks are quite powerful when used in concert with a Drayk. Their stunning effect is invaluable. If you can, try one Glaahk and one Drayk. They might be cheaper, too.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Vampiric touch restores some health when you attack something even with non-damaging attacks like essence shackles. The amount even with 3 vampiric touch items isn't worth using them.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Well, vampiric touch comes with the talism of might, so I have it.
