Ineffable Wingbolt Suspicious Vlish
Why do the Rebels not have some sort of national or patriotic song? Every revolutionary movement has some sort of song to lift the spirit of the troops! It might also help bring a bit of unity amongst the varying races in the Rebellion. Personally, I think that an adapted 'Geneforge' version of the La Marseillaise (French national anthem) or Dabrowski Mazurka (Polish national anthem) are appropriate. What do you other chaps thing? And what sort of anthem would fit the Shapers? For some reason, I think that the Soviet anthem would be appropriate... and possibly 'Rule Britannia'. Well-Actually War Trall Emperor Tullegolar
It doesn't have one because it is not a revolution that is oriented around the general population like many of the ones you named. The drakons don't actively seek to get people to revolt against their Shaper overlords, and the people don't generally try to. In fact, since both sides fight mostly with creations, this war involves very few normal people at all, thus no need for an anthem.
Magnificent Ornk Student of Trinity
Formez vos battaillons! Marchons, marchons! Que leur essence abreuve nos sillons! Edit: Google translation gave me a bizarre French for 'trefoil'. The corrected version also scans better, yay.

Magnificent Ornk Student of Trinity
('Minette' was a bizarre Google translation artifact; the corrected version is above. My French is really only good enough to have done about half of the changes without a dictionary.) Quote: Come, products of the vat chamber: the day of glory has arrived! The trefoil standard of tyranny is raised against us! Do you hear the vicious glaahks shrieking in the fens? They are coming right under our noses, to absorb our friends and children! To arms, creations! Form your battalions! March, march! Let their essence flow in the furrows of our fields!
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Compare to La Marseillaise . Edit: Well, best compare SoT's version. I was wondering about "minette", though.

Ineffable Wingbolt Suspicious Vlish
Here's a quick adaptation of Dąbrowski's Mazurka: Verse 1: "The Rebellion has not yet perished, So long as we live. What Shaper tyranny has taken from us, We will reclaim, thorn baton in hand. Chorus: March, march, Lilita, From Dhonal's Isle to Terrestia, Behind your leadership We will unite as a people. Verse 2: We'll cross the Forsaken Lands, we'll cross Illya, And we shall be forever free, Ghaldring has shown us, How to be victorious. Chorus: March, march, Lilita, From Dhonal's Isle to Terrestia, Behind your leadership We will unite against as a people. Verse 3: As Ellrah to Drypeak After the invasion of Sucia, To liberate our brethen We will travel across the sea. Chorus: March, march, Lilita, From Dhonal's Isle to Terrestia, Behind your leadership We will unite against as a people." Hmm, I'm not sure how to adapt Verse 4. Ahh well, 3 our of 4 ain't bad! Against us of tyranny the étandard trèflé is got up. Hear you in the marshes, bellow these ferocious glacques? They come even under our beaks, absorb our son and our buddies! Well-Actually War Trall Emperor Tullegolar
Well, I can't let the Rebellion have all the fun. Here is one for the Shapers, set to the music of "God Save the Queen" of course. All hail out sacred laws, Uphold them one and all. Order prevails. May peace and justice rise, and the Council's all-seeing eyes, Watch us for the rest of time. All hail our laws. Gifts of the great craft see, in every rock and tree. Shaping prevails. Creations roam the land, but by our guiding hand, we may together stand. All hail our laws.
Ineffable Wingbolt Suspicious Vlish
Great adaptation, Emp! The following isn't much of an adaptation. It's based on the English version of the 'Varshavianka' sung by Leon Lishner. It was a popular song during Polish resistance against the three annexing powers. It had Communist overtones, and hence became a favourite of the Soviets. This is a patriotic tune for the Rebellion, naturally... Quote: Whirlwinds of wingbolts are raging around us; O'erwhelming forces of Kyshakks assail. Still in the fight see advancing before us Our flag of liberty that yet shall prevail. Then, onward and onward! Freedom awaits you O'er all the world, on the land and the sea. On with the fight for the cause of liberty! March, march together, and the world will be free. Humans and Creations in slavery are calling. Shall we be silent to their sorrow and woe? See in the fight how our brothers are falling. Up, then, united, and conquer the foe! Off with the crown of the tyrant Shaper; Down in the dust with the prince and the peer. Strike off your chains, all you brave Creations of Terrestia! Wake, all Creations, for vict'ry is near! Then, forward and onward! Freedom awaits you O'er all the world, on the land and the sea. On with the fight for the cause of liberty! March, march together, and the world shall be free. How bout red...lets go with white...O I like blue lets go with blue. It can 4 stars to represent the 4 provernces. O it can be sriped. How bout the red stripes represent the drackons and the blue stripes represent the others. How does that sound? I know I'm just so orginal!
