Garrulous Glaahk Mimi
Hello, I have a problem with this quest, I have found Khyryk in the tunnel and I have spoken with him and after he's gone away then I have reported to Agent Miranda but I have always the quest. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
There are 2 Khyryk quests, one for the Shapers and one for the Rebels. Click on the quest for details and see if it tells you who asked for the quest. You also need to return to the person that sent you on the quest. I don't remember if for the Shaper quest if you also have to see General Crowley.

I can take even screenshots of animated sequence with sounds
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
*blink* You've got quests from Chapter 4 on your quest list. Just how long did you wait before attempting to report Khyryk's rescue to Miranda? You have to report to her in Shaper Camp Gamma; she'll be in Poryphra Ruins by now, so you can't do that any more. The reward is only a supply token and some XP anyway, though.

I have met the ghost of Khykryk in the north on the Valeya Road area, I suppose now that he's dead but it's not me who has killed him. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
Do you remember exactly what she said when you reported to her? I'd be surprised if it was a bug, since nobody else has experienced it. By the way, that's a shade, not a ghost. It's a creation made from part of Khyryk's essence; he's not dead. Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
I didn't think the variety of shade created by shapers was actually a creation. I'm not sure if the game text says they are somewhere, but the creature definitions file definitely says that no shades are creations. Shaper Shade uses the same basic information as all the regular undead. I figured it was more of a magical projection -- along the lines of the shades left behind by countless wizards in Exile. I don't remember what Miranda said, it's not easy for me because I'm french and sometimes I don't understand some sentences... sometimes the text is too long to translate Since Geneforge 1, I ever thought that shades were ghosts, in french we have the same word to translate shade and shadow it's "ombre". I am going to meet Miranda again, I would make screenshots of what she will say.
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
I am thinking you killed Monarch and reported that to Miranda, but did not select the dialog line which separately reported finding Khyryk to her. Once you have finished the Monarch quest and reported it to Miranda and leave the shaper camp, next time you enter the camp, she has left and you can't report the Khyryk quest to her any more. -S- EDITed out possible spoiler. I have met Khyryck at the end of the game (I just finish it) and I met Miranda for the last time and she said I'm deceived because I thought that there were others areas to west of the map, across the gates
Well-Actually War Trall Synergy
No matter how big a good game is, it's never quite big enough. -S-

Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
The key is in the southeast of Northforge Citadel, behind those two pylons. The control to turn them off is in the far southwest.
Garrulous Glaahk Mimi
you speak about this door for the control ? I couldn't open it (mechanics = 20, how many mechanics are necessary for open it ?)
Rotghroth Rhapsody Locmaar
Walk north from where you are (on the screenshot). There's a hidden lever behind a pillar (this is not the only one - there are plenty hidden throughout the game) which opens the door. edit: fixed typo
Garrulous Glaahk Mimi
Great !! I haven't seen the lever behind the pillar thank you very much. It's a new area.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Dark Mage
So what's behind "THE BLACK DOOR"?? The hidden crations of monarch?
Rotghroth Rhapsody Locmaar
Why don't you go and have a look yourself? When in doubt, try it out
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Yep, however you will have to be patient; you need the key from the north geneforge first.

And always the problem of essence : Not enough essence to make creatures. Except the khyryk quest, there are 2 another quests that I didn't succeed : - the death mushroom. For Yves, how to do to know the place ? do we need many leadership points for that ? I have 10 and he didn't speak. - To kill Litalia... it is not possible because there are all the characters of the area to kill they are no more friendly

Quote: - To kill Litalia... it is not possible because there are all the characters of the area to kill they are no more friendly This is true. To kill Litalia, you will turn the entire town against you. You wouldn't want to kill Litalia unless you are strongly pro-Shaper, in which case, what do you care if you have to kill an entire rebel camp? -S-
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
You can't kill Litalia and wipe out the Poryphra shaper camp in the same game. (Well, you can, but you can't get the quest rewards for both.) I suppose that finishing one quest should make the other go away, really, but it doesn't. You also won't be able to finish the deathcap mushroom quest at this stage of the game, since the person you report back to apparently disappears after Chapter 1. Here he's locked his experiments away that kind of got out of control and he didn't know what to do with them (apart from locking them away that is). It's a fun area but if you're careful and aware you shouldn't run into too many difficulties. If you're not careful you'll probably die a couple of times - at least I did the first couple of visits, before I decide to be more aware
