Dikiyoba Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 It stands for Area of Effect and means that the spell will target everyone in a certain area. Icy Rain is an example of an AoE spell. Although it's not really everyone--you won't damage your party members or other friendly characters with it, just your enemies. Dikiyoba.
