sobre
I cleaned out the bandits and found the chest with the note from bennhold in the murkwood, and then went south and followed the instructions in the note and found the bandits there, and cleaned them out to. But when i head back to the Atoria's city and find the guardian character who gave me the quest, i don't get a dialogue option as to the quest. What did I miss? Emmisary of Immanence
Did you kill or drive off the bandits in the Murkwood? It's possible to do various tasks there without actually wiping out the bandit threat. —Alorael, who would also make sure you're talking to the right Guardian. There are a few in Haria and Haria-Kel. The one you want is the one wandering the halls in Haria-Kel with an entourage of creations.
Blurb
Actually, the way it worked for me was that I got the reward and experience for getting rid of the bandits after the fact from Dominic in Penta. I didn't get the quest in advance from him. I was following the hint book and went to Noyde Pass first. If you did the same thing I did, you will get the quest from Dominic. Keep talking to him and you will get the option to tell him about it. You will get a nice reward and some experience. It was kind of strange because I think he told me to let Astoria know, but I didn't get the option to tell her anything about it. ETA: If by Guardian character, you mean Captain Herszen in HK, he gives you the Hunting Bennhold quest, basically just to vet rumors abou whether he is hiding in the fen. You report back on that part and the rest occurs from the Penta side.
Randomizer
You don't get the quest from Astoria to Aid Penta and report back until after you do the Kratoa-Kel quest and have a rebel reputation. Most people have already aided Penta and Learned Dominic by the time that they have reached Kratoa-Kel.
Uberdhizon
I didn't know I had to until Astoria made me.
sobre
Hey, i tried talking to dominic in penta too, and no go on the quest. When i speak to Hersza, he just gives me the quest anew. And dominic says they dont need more help. But the quest remains on my quest journal.
Randomizer
Did you make it all the way through the Northwest Fens to talk or kill Crenshaw? It is possible with repeated daze to kill Crenshaw so he never gets a chance to talk to you. There is a second bandit group in Murkwood that tells you how to get to Crenshaw. Uberdhizon
It's easier to make Crenshaw flee.
sobre
To be honest, i don't know. I did the quest a week ago and am just coming back after realizing i never tied it up. THe bandits in murwood are all dead. The bandit by the water that you have to go through the other bandits to get to is dead. And t he note in the chest about the skull path has been read. I went south down the path, fought those bandits, but found no special notes or trinkets that I might discuss/show to the guardian in Astoria's fortress. I don't know what I've missed. If i never finish this q uest officially, can i still get whatever follows, that's dependendent on it?
Uberdhizon
Presumably not. But perhaps the other people know more about this than me.
Blurb
There are two bandit camps, so it gets confusing. One is in Murkwood and the other is in the Northwest Fen (the place with a whole slew of wretched artillas and where it's easy to get caught by the Unbound). In Murkwood, you have to read some papers in the bandit camp. I think they are in a room in that little cove just near the east exit of the level. The letters tell you how to reach the bandits in the Northwest Fen. I think if you don't read the papers, you won't find the hidden passageway to the south in the Northwest Fen. Those are the bandits that you will get credit for in the bandit quest. Did you go there yet?
sobre
Yes, I've been down the skull pathway to the bandit camp in the northwest fen, after finding the note in the box in murkwood. Was i supposed to find anything at the northwest fen camp to take home to the guy who gave me the quest?
Uberdhizon
Not to my knowledge. I didn't.
Blurb
If you have done all these things, then your experience should come from Dominic in Penta. At least, that is how it worked for me. Again, after the fact because I visited Penta after doing all of this.
