Kyshakk Koan Mistb0rn
All the sites I've seen (other than the official one, which as I understand it is very incomplete) seem to only have Avernum scenarios. Can someone give me a link, or something? Thanks! Also, how should I go about distrubuting my first scenario once I finish it? It's very small, but I'm almost done. Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
The Archive contains nearly every BoE scenario ever released; if it's not there, it's probably not anywhere. Emailing a new scenario to Kelandon, the maintainer of that site (tomwatts (at) berkeley (dot) edu), is probably the easiest way to make it publicly available: it'll certainly be faster than trying to get Spiderweb to put it up these days. Easygoing Eyebeast keira
http://www.geocities.com/tracihedlund/mylittleboepage.html There are download links to ALL of them (in a big archive of whatever format you desire) HERE.
Well-Actually War Trall Balladeer
The best way to release a scenario is to upload a zip file of it to the web, and post a topic here with a link to the file. If you don't know how to put a file on the web, e-mailing it to Kelandon or myself will get it up in short order.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
There's also the Blades Forge... though I've heard that people have problems uploading there.
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
There was a problem with the program not recognizing any scenarios except the three official ones, I don't know if it has been fixed or not. This has been covered in a post in this forum, but I forget which one.
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
I think it's fixed. Though it was a Windows problem, right? So I can't be certain.
Rotghroth Rhapsody Ouroboros
I have that problem. To play another scenario you must back up your official scenario first Ex:VALLEYDY.EXS(Valley of Dying Things) then rename your scenario to this VALLEYDY.EXS and dont forget the extra files (Images)
Well-Actually War Trall Ishad Nha
In case anyone is using Windows see this post: http://www.ironycentral.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=28777&page=all Ormus fixed it in his latest version of Win32 BoE, unfortunately that version proved to be problematic and was withdrawn. Kyshakk Koan Mistb0rn
My first scenario is almost ready to release, I just have to wait for my beta-testers to finish so I can fix any errors. It's a small, classic exile-type scenario, intended for a low-mid level party. While I'm waiting on the testers to get back to me, I'm also working on my next scenario, a huge one for Very High level parties. I'm guessing that we don't really need a bunch more easy ones, correct?
Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
We really only have three real scenarios (high level party makers excluded) to bring a beginner-level party to medium level, actually. One of them features an edited Warrior's Grove as the starting town. So yes, we need low-level scenarios as much as high-level scenarios. Make what you want to make, though. Kyshakk Koan Mistb0rn
Oh, really? Well, that will make things easier. I'll be glad to make some low to mid-level ones, once I finish this one.

Are you sure you don't think you're posting in the BoA forum instead of the BoE forum? We have lots of BoE scenarios for every party level. Also, "low-level" doesn't necessarily mean "easy" -- there are lots of scenarios, like On a Ship to Algiers or Deadly Goblins, that are designed for low-level parties but are still very difficult. In general, you should always set the scenario's level a bit higher than you actually expect the party to end the scenario with. If the party enters, say, a low-level scenario and manages to get to level 10, every monster in the game will have twice as much HP in a misguided attempt to increase the difficulty; this is almost always an undesirable feature, so you set the scenario to Medium or High level to avoid it. Understated Ur-Drakon The Almighty Doer of Stuff
It's an average level of 8, and I was referring specifically to parties that will take a freshly made party, and take them to level 8. There are plenty of scenarios for freshly-made parties, but most either won't get the party to level 8 or will take them significantly past it. The only three that take a fresh party to level 8 (so they can play Medium-level scenarios) that I know of are VoDT, Back To Normal, and Treacherous Waters. Are there others? I guess that wasn't necessarily what Mistb0rn was asking, but nevertheless.
Kyshakk Koan Mistb0rn
How long should a level 1-8 scenario probably be? I'd be glad to make a few. About how many outdoor screens, dungeons, cities, and quests should it have?
Understated Ur-Drakon Celtic Minstrel
Well, if Valley of Dying things is one of them, you could find your answers there...
