Mynda
I am really stuck in the game. I have made it into Lerman's Pass, talked to the weird floating eye thing and gotten the custom officers papers. The thing is, I am not strong enough to kill the wyrms around the floating eye thing, or the eye itself. Normally, I would go to another area and build up my experience and come back, but the doors are locked and I can't get out. Any help/ideas/hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Lilith
If you've killed the captain (a couple of rooms south of the eye), he drops a key that lets you get out. Try the lever in the northern one of the two small rooms to the west of the entry hall. To get through the pass to the south, you'll need to kill the eye, but there's no rush to do that. Mynda
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! I killed the captain, thought that the key opened only the room with the papers in it. I am so releived, thought I was going to have to start all over again.
Uberdhizon
Wait, there's a Gazer/Eyebeast in Lerman's pass? Good thing I went through Kratoa-Kel.
Lilith
Yeah, people in the game warn you away from Lerman's Pass for a good reason. The gazer even tells you he's surprised that you haven't run away yet when you attack him.
Emmisary of Immanence
And everyone who tells you about Lerman's Pass pretty much tells you to stay away from it, including the customs officers who tells you to get the papers. It's truth in advertising. —Alorael, who was grateful for the autosave the first time he stumbled in. Most of the game up until the passes and the Okavano is fairly easy. The eye is not. The golems aren't either.
Uberdhizon
Golems?! I'm fine with a Gazer, even an eyebeast, but golems! Let me tell you a secret: Click to reveal.. They make me sad because I can't shape my own.
