Articulate Vlish bilbus
I cant seem to find how to get into the raised part of his base. I am at the part of the game with the dragon who requiers tribute from everyone. Thanks
Rotghroth Rhapsody madrigan
The back door to Gladwell's pad is in the Azure Gallery. You have to go through the lower level of Shafir's tower. It's worth backtracking -- it's a cool map, a good fight, and there's some nifty loot.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The back door to Gladwell's Keep is from the north part of the Honeycomb Barren part of the Azure Gallery. Go past the undead near the entrance to Soultaker's Pit and you will find a secret door. Shafrir's Tower is where you go for a failed attempt to remove Gladwell's geas. Articulate Vlish bilbus
Ah thanks, i was exploing there atm, i forgot to go there when i was in that zone. Was wondering what was back there. So whats the deal with Shafrir's Tower, he can remove the geas .. or he tries and fails?
Hatchling Cockatrice Lilith
He can remove the Anama geas, but he's not powerful enough to remove Gladwell's.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
and before you go harass Gladwell goto remove his geas at cellar, otherwise battle is more difficult.
Tenderfoot Thahd webgrunt
How do you remove his geas in the cellar? The walkthrough said you smash some crystal by the west wall, but I can't find it.

Tenderfoot Thahd webgrunt
I think you can't remove the geas until later in the game than I am.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Shafrir can't remove Gladwell's geas. You have to get into Gladwell's Keep through the backdoor.
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
yea and that backdoor is available bit late on game.
Ineffable Wingbolt Erebus the Black
instead of going into bal-shamaroth's pit go straight ahead past the guards and you'll find the back door. Click to reveal.. one of the shades he sends against you can be harvested for wisdom gems until you kill him. You need to anger Gladwell, kill the shades (but not glad himself), take crystal, retreat from area, return, anger glad and he sends the shade again. Tenderfoot Thahd webgrunt
I went in through the back door and killed Gladwell, but the geas remained.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
You have to go back and break a crystal behind a door that you couldn't open when you first pass it.
Tenderfoot Thahd webgrunt
I finally found it. Thanks!
Understated Ur-Drakon Earth
if you fought against Gladwell geased and he didn't charm your party then you were lucky.
Articulate Vlish posfan12
Is there a way to get the "reward" items behind the shadow doors? The lockpick level is 90 which is extremely high. I never took the geas in the first place, just went in and killed him.
Kyshakk Koan Txgangsta
Yes, if you're geased, Gladwell gives you rewards for bringing him his requested items.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Jeff was extremely insistent that the only way to unlock shadow doors was as rewards and not looting after killing Gladwell.
