Eigenvalue
I am sorry if this question came up before, but what is the minimum number of humanoids (that is, humans, vanhatai, sliths and nephilium (-a?) all included) one needs to kill to finish the game? Would it be possible to not explicitely kill anyone? Or is it that one cannot get to Solberg's lands without killing Lysstak and dozens of his minions? Emmisary of Immanence
I'm pretty sure you need to kill a lot. You could in theory stun or charm your way through most of the game, but several important characters, like Lysstak, have to die by your hand. —Alorael, who thinks the number of humanoids who must die is probably under ten. The number you are likely to kill on the way is probably in the hundreds.
Randomizer
They don't all have to die by your hand, but the people that are around that could help you do the dirty work are limited and generally useless. Theoretically the rat and soldier imprisoned by Lysstak could kill while you buff and heal. Same with the ending where Dorikas dies. Redmark is harder since you would have to charm his guards and then lead Redmark out to be attacked. Daze and running away to lead someone into an area where someone else can do the fighting for you is hard. Control foe isn't available until Anama Lands and you have only a few scrolls to do it before then.
