Daisy Munchkin
I've been playing about a month now, but A5 does not play QUITE like other games of its ilk. First of all, why do all members of team have to be within 10 paces (spaces) before one can get out of attack mode? Also, in attack mode, I tend to lose track of who is up for the next whackamole... and then spend time banging around the keyboard until someone steps up and throws a punch. I realise this is a turn based game, but it does seem to be a tad unwieldy to have a gormless great beast thwacking the bejeezus outta my main man, and I can't get my lick in. Also, can't save in attack mode???? I guess there is a good teckky reason. Now I'm old, half senile, half blind, and getting ready to meet my maker any day. ..manys the little black spot on the wall I've missed simply because I can't see it. Maybe a better way in A6, (half-way up the wall, ferinstince!) So to the Great Creator, sorry to critique after only being onboard for a couple of days, but just had to vent my spleen. (I gotta nerve!)

Well, where would the game place the party if two members were on one side of a dungeon and the other two were on the other side? Whether it picked a random PC's location to centre the party on or tried to average out their locations, it'd be too easy for a canny player to exploit. The currently active character has an outline around their picture. I know it can still get annoying when you put a couple of points in Dexterity and suddenly everyone's turn order changes from what you expect, though. Randomizer
Can't save in attack mode gets worse in some games. It pays to have a few different saves so you don't lose hours of playing because you make a mistake and get into a fight when you are hurting. Not being able to see that spot for a lever control affects us all. Try using the "u" command to highlight all the objects that can be clicked on to use or open. Otherwise you can spend hours moving the mouse cursor around looking for something.

Frustrating to see that there is secret door but button/lever which opens that door is hidded bit too well.
