Curious Artila Fermata Posted September 3, 2008 Share Posted September 3, 2008 So I'm pretty close to finishing the game now (2 of 3 major quests complete, and all I have to do now is get through the Final Gauntlet), and I still have no idea how to solve the murders in Cotra. Talking to Scab gives you a dialogue option to ask him about it, but that leads to nowhere. Is this just an intentional loose end, or can it be tied up? Curious Artila Fermata Posted September 4, 2008 Author Share Posted September 4, 2008 Ooh, interesting idea Rent-an-Ihrno. It is cool that there a lot of flavor elements in the game. I've just started Avernum 2, and I LOVE the mention of the half-built hot spring spa around the Motrax area. Nice shout out to a very insignificant A1 quest. Still, woulda been nice if the double murder had a resolution; smaller things I don't mind there being loose ends, but this one nagged at me a bit. It probably is the Scimitar, as Rent speculated, though. At least that's what I'm gonna tell myself so that I can sleep at night.
