Tcheedchee
Hi, did you also recognize that the Stone of Victory changes the amount of turns you can use it just when you move it? The best value I had was thirty - naturally when I found it. Without using it, but just carrying it back to the runes at the entrance of the hall, where the hraithe unlives, it went down to 28. After the character who kept the stone did some spells in non-combat mode, the stone lost even more value. I think it even went down to 18! Why is this? Also: Are there any tricks against the hraithe eliminating all my magical energy except for having a vast amount of energy elixirs on me? At least the Stone of Victory doesn't restore it…
Randomizer
The Stone drops per round of movement so if you move a square that counts as a turn. Bring energy potions and use them instead of elixirs so you don't waste them when the Hraithe Lord does energy drain. Use wands and potions when you can so you don't waste spell energy. I found in the my singleton game that I could stand in that narrow northwest corridor and summon a creation that would move to attack the Hraithe Lord. Having a new summoned creation just south of me every round kept the Hraithe from moving and I could pick it off eventually without getting more than a lightning aura damage.
