Moromaster
I've gotten quite far on Avernum 3 and I decided to change my reputation to 80, now I can't get into some cities, they say I'm an Avernite and they kick me out. I've changed my reputation back to 0 and they still don't let me in. Is there any way to get in?
Xaiya
That has nothing to do with reputation. I think you are going way too far from where you should be because if you defeat the slime plague you should be able to get into those cities. That is, unless, you messed with an sdf. Emmisary of Immanence
You cannot enter Sharimik or Lorelei, and possibly Gale, unless you have ended either the slime or the roach plagues. If you've simply travelled far, you need to go back and finish your quests. If you have gotten far in the game, you've done something with the editor that you shouldn't have (probably altered SDFs, as Iffy says), and you may need to start over. —Alorael, whose answer is basically Iffy's answer with a few more bits thrown in. He's not sure if this is a good habit or a bad one.
John S
In Exile 3, if you entered Lorlei or Sharimik at a diagonal angle, you were shunted over to the restricted part of the town anyway. It seems unlikely that this is happening every single time in A3, but just in case someone ever searches for information on this...
The Mystic
You must have ended the plague of either the slimes or the roaches, and received the reward from the mayor of Kriszan or Shayder, respectively. Then you'll be able to enter just about every major city except Blackcrag.
