I am having the damnedest time finding all the secret doors beneath Thalants. Hints? Also, the area beneath the northwest corner of the Vahnatai lands, beneath the hidden cave with all of the ladders, one of which gets you into tunnel towards the Pit of Abominations... How do I get into the underground level WEST of the all the ladders? There seems to be a whole lot going on beneath the Vahnatai lands that I just can't get to! thanks! Randomizer Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 Most of the levers for secret areas below Thalants are in the west side storerooms behind barriers. There seem to be some areas that can't be opened, The northeast one is reached from the other side below Kherebass. The area west of Kherebass on the lower level has two other entrances. The furthest west is for the Hraithe Lord quest from Lark and you need to talk to Epiron-Bok. The other is from a building in the northwest area of the Vahnatai Lands. Gorthaur Posted December 31, 2007 Author Share Posted December 31, 2007 Something buggy happened with Lark, Pasqual... the fun hunting quest dialogs never appeared. So I never got the mindwarp chitrarch, the undead guy where the skeletons keep appearing south of the road to Muck, etc. I've resorted to pressing "u" every 10 turns or so... The option is on the second level of Lark's conversation tree: you have to ask if there's anything you can do for her, and then you're given the option to begin a hunt. Anyway, yes, there's one area in the far northwest that you can only get to by getting the quest to kill the Hraithe Lord. For the rest, you either have to find the right switch or the right staircase (or both). Quite a few ordinary homes in the areas surrounding Thalants have stairways in them.
