Yes people i've got a hacked geneforge 3!

I tested it myself!

you can make big money and lots of stats

all you have to do is download the script here

 

NOW! if you have any ideas of hacking the game like getting items or something else, please mail me or place it on the forum!

How to use??

 

-To use the hacked version

go to your "geneforge 3" folder

open "geneforge 3 files"

-Rename the folder scripts to

something else or move

it to somewhere else

-Unzip the downloades file

and place the folder in your

"geneforge 3 files"

-Now start the game!

 

SOME CHEATS AVAIBLE

-In the begin of the game

you can let Alwan join you

(he's in the academy)

if he joins you you will get

a nice present

-Also if go to the testing grounds

finish the tests and talk

to mind myzz

he might be able to

teach you some spells

Bug Report:

 

On Greenwoold Isle in the Lair of the creator I found the following:

1. The first time I entered the mine I did “dbugkill” since I was attacked with nothing near me. What happened was the Spawner had joined me and was being attacked. The creator and all other creatures aside form the Shade and the Spawner died. I was not able to leave the mine until I dismissed the Spawner.

 

2. I loaded the saved file to see if I could get a different result. This time the Spawner did not join me when I entered the mine, and has not joined me since. I tried the “dbugkill” upon entering again, and the Spawner did not join me.

 

3. When the Spawner was in my group (the first trial) I clicked the “?” to see its stats. The picture in the stats window looked like colorful TV snow.

 

Edit: On Harmony Island in San Ru When the PC asks Diwaniya to join the group. You are taken to the response of having asked about Diwaniya ever seeing Litalie, but the NPC does not join the group,

i have been working on the scripts trying to up the effect of the cannisters, but so far it hasnt worked

you just have to recharge yourself

just press [shift]+d

I'm playing a Shaper. No, I'd say it's probably that I was at too low a level to have the capacity for enough essence. At level 13, I've got 366 essence, so...

 

At Lair of the Creator: Is the Shaper Shadow supposed to join me after I talk to it a second time, or is it in the script that I suddenly have a spawner in my party? A spawner that's in danger of getting killed by the hostile one right next to it.

 

Edit: btw, the spawner doesn't seem to do anything, and there's no image in its stats.

 

Also: At Fort Kentia, you might want to have Captain whathisface join you after you do stuff for him. He seems to have joined me nearly as soon as I got into the fort, which kinda killed my chances of talking to him. I ended up dismissing him and leaving the town, then coming back and talking to him.

The first time I tried as an Agent, and the second time as a Shaper. If you have Alwan join the group with the PC at level one the result is 96 in essence.

Open them in a text editor. Edit as desired. (They're kind of buried within the GF folder, but they're not too hard to find.)

 

For the record, none of this is supported by Spiderweb at all, so if you screw up your games, it's up to you to fix them.

Unless I'm mistaken you are saying... You put your scripts folder somewhere else, and than put abbandon's edited scripts folder in the GF3 files folder. When you opened the game after doing that nothing was different?

If you check page 1 from this forum I explained how to install the cheater

 

so here's what

 

1: go to Geneforge3/geneforge3files/

2: rename or replace the folder: 'Scripts'

3: unzip your download into the geneforge3files

4: start the game !

 

if this doen't work than mail me precisely how you try it

but i think that won't be nesecerely

 

To instal an update just do the same as above

I have a spelling/grammar error to report. When you meet up with Master Hoge for the second time in one of the marshes with roamers, he talks to you. One of the responses to his messege for you apparently makes him join you.

 

It is phrased: "I will try and meet with the rebels and at least see what they have to say and you shal go with me!."

 

Not to offend, but you may want to rephrase it slightly. Perhaps making it two sentences, like "I will try and meet with the rebels and at least see what they have to say. But you should come with me." Or something of the like.

 

Edit: the permanant radient shield and blessing effects are a nice touch, by the way.

 

Edit two: I came across an odd messege while taking down the spawners in Madness Mire.

 

zspawner30.txt Error. Bad term in expression in line 52

 

I have no idea whether that has anything to do with this cheater or not, but it happened while I was destroying spawners.

From what I've seen in your update it looks good. If I knew what I was looking for I could report better, but for now I can't play the first or second island again.

 

Maybe it's just me, but I've always liked using the editors where you would go to a sign or an obelisk to cheat. If someone needed items, skills, spells, experience, money…. they would go through a series of menus to get what they want. That way there is an option to receive level appropriate equipment, rather than the most powerful items in the game after opening the very first door.

 

Though Alwan joining you gives you maxed stats, very nice if you want to play as a God. This makes it so you can't take Alwan with you without heavily cheating. Placing these options in an obelisk or the testing ground would give the option of playing the game without cheating, but still using your scripts.

 

Maybe an option to raise stats by 1,2,4,5,10,30 would make it so one could cheat a little or a lot. I hope I wrote that without being offensive.

but if you want to play the game without cheating

just don't use my script

or if you want to let alwan join you but not getting max stats

you just replace the script for the old one, let alwan join you, save the game, put in the cheater. and there you have it

 

And what you're saying about opening the first door

and get the most powerfull weapons is indeed a bit to easy

by the way, it was only a test

in the next update (no date set) this handy little thing will be gone.

 

And letting the cheats sit in multiple questions takes a LOT of work.

ok heres the scoop, in my version the updates now work, but master hoge joins me in the school, and Darwinia dosent join me. oh and wut is the script for making someone join your party?, i can make them say they will but they dont..

Well that's hard to explain

 

First you need to know the number of the character you want to have you joined (this is most of the times found in the levelcodefile like: z10testing.txt not z10testingdlg.txt)

Then go the the dialoge version (z10testingdlg.txt)

find the text

and add

code =

add_char_to_party(the number);

break;

under it

 

If this doen't work then just post a message saying which character you would like to join you and in which zone.

 

Then I will do that for you!
