Guest Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 Hello, So, I have 4 Brooches, but I have seen/read a couple of places that it's so much better to have all 5. Hum, so what difference does it make if I have only 4?? (A while ago, I tried as a test with 4 brooches and was teleported to the castle, I was beaten pretty bad in the last chamber at the time as I was not prepared/strong enough then. ) Thanks! Ineffable Wingbolt Rent-an-Ihrno Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 well, looking for it and retrieving it of course makes you stronger, but i honestly dont think thats important. you should kill hawthorne right before you leave avernum anyway, and so it shouldnt make a difference. i have no idea why it is so horrible to attempt the teleportation with 4 brooches. what happens anyway? if you die, just reload. or what? With 5 brooches, you live to go and get a reward from Erika and carry on adventuring.
