Burgeoning Battle Gamma Puksis
I have saved the tower boom with editor. (It is my cheatsave, but I dont want add spells) I cant find them in fort emergence, and I cant get to tower of the Magi...
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
X and Solberg will be in the Portal Fortress, not Fort Emergence. —Alorael, who also isn't quite sure what happened with the editor. Preventing the tower boom should either freeze it in its original state or stop the countdown while still letting you fight the demons. Understated Ur-Drakon Nioca
Actually, Solberg does go to Fort Emergence. He's by the chamber holding the Orb of Thralni. As for X, I was never able to find him after the explosion.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Solberg - Greenhouse, Fort Emergence (South East). X - Guest Quarters, Fort Emergence (North East).
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Puksis
They arent there? I want arcane blow lvl 3...
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
Hmmm... they've always been there for me. Maybe they are on a three day cycle? Edit: Why did you use the character editor anyhow? If you can defeat the golems, surely you can manage a couple of demons?
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Puksis
Tower of magi was WAY before golems... It took so long because singleton/torment/one disadvance.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Still you could have just closed the portal and avoided fighting most of the demons.
Burgeoning Battle Gamma Puksis
I just finish the game without it. I am in the great wall place already.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Oh come on, I beat it with a singleton/torment. It didn't take that long for me to get to the golem part, I beat golems, beat Tower of Magi when the demons came, and beat the game. I also got a few legendary items on the singleton/torment. Edit -and since the demons technicaly weren't defeated, the two didn't show up and since you can't vist the Tower of Magi you are out of luck with that I'm afraid. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Be nice Iffy, he might have spent time getting money. Those jobs and hauling loot back to town burn up time.
Well-Actually War Trall Micawber
The first time you play the game you don't know the geography, and you can take a long time exploring and trying to find out the place you want ("was that place west or north of Lorelei?"). My first game of Exile 3, I finished on day 497. I remember I didn't even discover Golddale until after I had already met Baziron and destroyed three Golem spires. Plus, I kept losing my horses in the forests. Needless to say this was before I discovered the valorim deluxe map, which is one of my favourite things EVER. Burgeoning Battle Gamma Puksis
BTW. When this topic turned into singleton parties, what is your "heroes" level? Mine is 72...
Understated Ur-Drakon Tyranicus
You know, I've never actually been able to se the ToM disaster without adjusting the date in the Chracter Editor. How the frak does anyone take that much time when playing the game?
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
Horses make a huge difference in how much time it takes to do anything.
Easygoing Eyebeast Xaiya
Most of the time I am nice, rest assured. And I was in the 50's when I beat Avernum 3 with singleton/torrment. I have beaten this game two times. I did a full party/easy to beat it the first time. I then switched to singleton/torrment for the second time. You know, singleton is only a challenge at the start, then it becomes better than a full party.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
As a singleton it depends upon your character trait advantages/disadvantages. With brittle bones and completely inept (70% XP bonus), I'm at level 51 and just starting the Troglo area quests. 70-80 is the usual range for Avernum 3. Avernum 1 limits you to 40 and Avernum 2 is 50. Avernum 4 is based upon your traits and you can get into 50s.
