Tenderfoot Thahd avatis Posted November 27 Posted November 27 After many plays, today I noticed the guards in Drypeak have no mugs that are usually there..and somewhat annoy my ocd when placing stored items. Has anyone noticed and does it signify something different with this particular run of the game? Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Quiconque Posted November 28 Posted November 28 Yes -- it probably signifies that you have placed so many stored items in that zone that you have overflowed the save file's storage for items in that zone. Suggestions: 1. Check your stored items to make sure none of them have disappeared. (I'd guess the game will overwrite those last, but who knows.) 2. Don't put any more items in Drypeak. Use a different zone. (Or just don't store so many items.) In previous games the limit kicked in at 255 items in a zone. (Your items plus native ones.) It's been a very, very long time since this has been reported, but it does sound like what you're experiencing. (If you're sure you're nowhere near that limit, then it sounds like file corruption instead, and the only advice is "revert to a save before that happened.") Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer Posted November 28 Posted November 28 There are fewer mugs in Drypeak and not near the guards. There was one in the servile quarters kitchen and two in the locked building near your quarters. This maybe due to the guards just drinking straight from the bottles and not wasting time with using mugs to slow them down. This sent a posting that you want to be sober. I looked at a save where I was still in the early game (level 6). Quote
Tenderfoot Thahd avatis Posted November 30 Author Posted November 30 Thanks for the Rapid Response! to start, I’ve never had more than a couple of dozen stored there at any time this new game had no cups there from beginning, before I began starting saving items there. I’ve looked at other saved games, cups there to infuriate this is Infestation, so no earlier versions to load and so far nothing has been lost I’m so used to moving them that it surprises me to the point that, possibly I’ve moved them in an irate, cannabis-induced..but I looked everywhere for them. I know that I’m so lazy that I would have just moved them to edge out of reach. Quote
Hatchling Cockatrice Quiconque Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Huh, that's really weird. Are other random junk items also missing from Drypeak -- particularly from containers? Or just mugs? Quote
