Queens Wish 2: Ice Naga battle won't trigger

So I did the first Pit of the Ice Wyrm quest and now the second part comes up in my quest list, telling me there are problems with shipments and I should go see Conglins. I do and he says the serpents are back and to speak with his daughter. But then that dialogue goes exactly like the first- she never says there is a new problem and goes to sleep. When I go in the mines, there are miners in there, no messages, and no monsters spawn (even walking all over the mine). I must be missing something to trigger this, but I can't figure out what. Can anyone help?

I remember having trouble getting the second part to trigger properly.

 

Some things to try are going back to the town where you first got the quest and talking there to the quest giver.

Try again with the Coglin father before trying the daughter.

Make sure you are in her room when talking to her.

 

That should get the dialogue that the Ice Wyrm is back and open up a wall in the mines to a new area.

It didn't seem to help at first, but did it again with the entire party in the room and that did the trick! That's a real technicality there. Thanks again.
