Random thought: the mysterious puzzle box

I was re-watching Hellraiser and was suddenly reminded of the mysterious puzzle box whose purpose Jeff forgot about. Maybe it was a Hellraiser reference, in which case the box was best left unopened anyway. After all, there is a demon in the game (aside from the Shareware Demon) who takes the form of an old healer woman, if I recall correctly.

It is certainly possible, it is the right vintage for Jeff but I do not know if he has mentioned it anywhere else
