Which goblin graphic?

also the "yellow" goblin worrior will be from Nethrogate

I like the varieties of "regular" goblins. They look dirtier than the others somehow, which all good goblins should be.

 

Maybe it's those yellow tunics and misshapen clubs which make them mangier?

I prefer the peach goblins of Nethergate and A1. No, I don't know why. A4 goblins look pretty good too.

Personally, I liked the yellow graphic a lot better. I even copied it over for A2, A3, and BoA. If you want to use yellow goblins, it's quite simple. Just copy G1521.bmp from the Data folder of A1 to the Data folders of A2, A3, and BoA. For A3, it has to be renamed 1521.bmp. As for the goblin fighters, you're out of luck. A1 didn't have them. I toyed with the idea of using the goblin warrior graphic from Nethergate, but the Nethergate data files are different from Avernum's.

I thinksss the goblinsss ssshould be like in A3, but what about the Orgesss in A3 that look like gaintsss in A1? Dont Orgesss feel more like Orgsss in A1 and A2 than in A3?

Oh, of course! I'd forgotten about Nagas...

 

It's been a while since I played any Avernum games. Hopefully that situation will be rectified soon with the release of Avernum 4.

I think it's a bit premature to heft out the karmacinerator guns. He's only made 4 posts for crying out loud, and apart from the confusssing "SSS" busssinessssss he seems an alright guy.
