Garrulous Glaahk mistica
which Avernum are you in now... 1,2,or 3. If at A3 then if you at the very start give your mage 6 to mage spells, you can get it for free. If you dont want that then go to Shaydar & find the mage at the SE corner of the city. He will teach You level 1 & 2 of unlock doors for a price.
Garrulous Glaahk mistica
Oh! I forgot! You have to customize at the very start to get the Unlock doors spell.
Ineffable Wingbolt Rent-an-Ihrno
you can get unlock from start in any avernum. in a2, buy it in formello. in a1, dont ask me. try silvar or cotra, the largest cities nearby.
Curious Artila siobhan
Thanks! I'm in Avernum 3. I guess I'll have to go to Shayder, since I don't want to start over.
Kyshakk Koan Arenax
You don't have to start over. You can just kill off one of your characters. It's actually not a bad idea to do so. I usually start with two priest/mages (Ice Lances and Healing, pretty much) and two slith fighters. About the time I get through the bandits, one fighter is strong enough that I can nuke the second and create another mage or priest.
