V1.0.3 - ETA; planned fixes?

I do and always have subscribed to the idea that patches should generally be released whenever they're ready, and am not trying to rush Jeff on this, but as I was planning to finally start my playthrough of Queen's Wish in the next few days and naturally wanted to play the "best"/most bug-free version available, does anyone have any inside info (e.g. through emails with Jeff) on when version 1.0.3 will drop? Also, I assume it will address the below issues, but anyone in the know who could add to/comment on the below planned list of fixes is welcome to do so. Cheers!

EDIT: I just emailed Jeff myself, since I noticed a couple more typos in Shaw's initial dialogue at Kelleran (apologies if one or both of these were fixed in 1.0.1 or 1.0.2):
a) "He voice booms" should be "His voice booms"; see 15:56 at

b) Also, in the sentence immediately before the one above, the narration indicates Shaw's face is "bearded", but his portrait is clean-shaven.

I say this from a position of complete ignorance, I just don't know.  That disclaimer aside, I saw that Jeff was looking for Beta testers for the iPad version of QW. Given that, I'd assume that his focus is on that rather than minor tweaking of a relatively stable/complete game at this point in time.

 

Will there be another patch at some point, yeah/maybe/possibly.  But baring some big problem that slipped through the extensive Beta testing and all the gameplay over six weeks since the release...I wouldn't count on it any time soon.

 

While we as players/consumers would like a perfect game, Jeff, wanting to keep a roof over his head, is going to say sooner or later that ' this is good enough'

Cool. I (obviously) didn't chase down those links. Good to hear he's still tweaking things.

 

Thinking about this a bit more over the past hour and when it's time to say 'enough' - have you ever read Arthur Clarke's short story 'Superiority'?  It's online somewhere and an amusing way to spend ten or so minutes.

Simulated Knave - that would make sense. If that ends up being the case, I'll just wait another couple months and play some other RPGs on my list during my "game time" until then. And TriRodent - I have read that one (always been a fan of Clarke's work, despite not being into sci-fi otherwise); funny reference!
