Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
Has anyone else had a problem opening Nethergate: Resurrection on their Mac? I am running Sierra 10.12.5. It downloads properly. The folder looks to be normal, so far as I can tell. When I click on the icon with the graphic labelled N: Resurrection v 1.0.3 nothing happens. No error message, nothing... Easygoing Eyebeast Triumph
I'm only running 10.10.5 (Yosemite) and the same version of N:R as you, and it works fine for me. Which makes me wonder if one of your OSX updates somehow broke it? Might need to email Spiderweb about this.
Unflappable Drayk Edgwyn
I just tried on os 10.12.4 with the same version of N:R and it opened fine for me.
Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
Well, it's not looking good for Nethergate on the latest Mac systems. Sigh......
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Considering how old it is … all it takes is a little tweak by Apple to mess it up.
Hatchling Cockatrice Status Crow
It's really weird that nothing happens when you open it, especially if this really is an OS version compatibility issue. Like... literally nothing? Do you get a zoom rectangle, bouncing dock icon, or whatever stuff normally accompanies double-clicking on an app on your system? There is a quick shadow on the screen where the opening window would be, and there is a glimpse of the dock making room for a new icon. They are very brief however, then all gets quiet - like I had never tried to open the game.
Hatchling Cockatrice Status Crow
Ooh, yeah. Could be an OS version thing. It could also be a graphics thing. In the absence of anyone else trying the same OS version, might be good to check that. Can you share your graphics specs? (If you don't have a separate graphics card, just sharing your mac model should cover that info.)
Garrulous Glaahk Painted Lady
I do not have a separate graphics card. Mac mini (Late 2014) Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
Garrulous Glaahk macdude22
NG:R works fine on my 2011 mini (HD3000) running 10.12.6 but does not launch in my 2016 MBP (Iris Pro) running 10.12.6. FWIW 10.11 is listed as the last compatible OS version on the store page.
