Audun Intelligence in Four Circles

I have been through those huts over and over and keep getting the message that my tracking skills aren't up to snuff. I've gone through the trapdoors and cleared out the basement, and Audun still isn't happy. What am I missing?

Four circles isn't about the huts, it's about the circles.... the huts are a different quest.

 

As far as the circles go, the circles aren't the huts (they're in a square roughly around the middle of the map), and I think you have to visit all three of the readily-accessible circles *after* you get the quest, so you might have to revisit some of them if you've been already. Once that's done, the secret path is the route NE and then NW of the east circle. You get a bunch of messages for the many dead ends but just ignore those.

What he means is the last part of Audun Intelligence quest where you explore the huts in the Four Circles zone. The trigger to finish the quest should be when you meet the wretches below starting the dialogue. Killing them shouldn't be needed, but is helpful for the items.

 

The message about tracking skills should have stopped when you got the quest.

 

You should have the option to report when you return to see Audun.

 

You could try asking for the quest again.

I was romping thru of cleared areas and when visited in FC I got same msg but I don't have Audun's quest (I have finished it most likely). Audun doesn't have any new quests for me either (not that anybody has since its near endgame).
