I've fought my way close to the end of the game, have already closed the portal, and my only real quest-line left is to find Thompson. Except.... I can't get the Crystal Soul from Angierach because I still don't have quickfire. But the thing is, I SWEAR I should have it. I finished the quest where I was given a little egg to crack or something. But.... it's not in my inventory or special items. Who was I to receive this from? I can't remember now. There are two ways to get one: from Pyrog's Lair or from Rentar-Ihrno in Egli. You only need one, so check either of those places. By the way, in order to actually use the egg, you'll also need to have followed the Erika/Athron quest line until you met Enla and she told you how to use it, so make sure you've done that. Tenderfoot Thahd sippycup Posted March 23, 2015 Author Share Posted March 23, 2015 Okay so I've backtracked and I've done what I need to via Enla and Rentar-Ihrno. I've gone back and checked with both of them and the dialogue boxes for quickfire from Enla tell me to visit Rentar, but Rentar has no dialogue options about quickfire anymore. If I need instructions from Enla, the lack of Phoenix Egg in my special item inventory isn't queuing the dialogue. Grrrr. I guess I better check on Pyrog. I've closed the portal, and that said I finished the game more or less, but I'd still like to get the other two Crystal Souls. I think my save must have become corrupted somewhere along the way. First Mayor Bevan disappeared and has never come back. The phoenix egg disappeared from my special items inventory. And I've definitely been to Limoncelli's lair and read his book, but I can't get the council in Olgai to tell me anything about Pyrog. None of the conversations lines were present (a second time), but the egg has become reacquainted with my special inventory. Level 58 singleton.... and now I might finally get my chance at Gharzad.
